This platform underpins critical business capabilities, including large-scale data ingestion, data composition, extraction, and loading across global markets.\nThe VP will lead a globally distributed engineering organization and be responsible for transforming legacy platforms into a modern, scalable, cloud-native ecosystem. This role requires a strong combination of technical depth, architectural vision, and proven people leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnology & Architecture Leadership\nLead the development of an integrated platform that supports our high-volume customer communications business.\nOversee data architecture, including data modeling, ETL pipelines, and integration across internal and external systems.\nDefine and drive the target architecture for modernizing legacy platforms, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, and performance.\nChampion cloud-native design patterns using AWS services, event-driven architectures, and streaming platforms such as Kafka.\nPartner with enterprise architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with Broadridge’s enterprise platform architecture.\nEngineering Execution\nOwn end-to-end software delivery, from strategy and roadmap through implementation, deployment, and ongoing operations.\nEstablish engineering best practices for CI/CD, code quality, observability, reliability, and operational excellence.\nEnsure platforms meet strict requirements for availability, performance, compliance, and data integrity.\nDrive continuous improvement through automation, tooling, and modern development practices.\nLeadership & Talent Development\nLead, inspire, and scale a high-performing global engineering organization.\nAttract, develop, and retain top engineering talent; build strong leadership benches across regions.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.\nProvide coaching and mentorship to senior engineering leaders and architects.\nStakeholder & Business Partnership\nPartner closely with product management, business leaders, and operations to align technology delivery with business objectives.\nCommunicate technical strategy, risks, and progress clearly to executive leadership.\nBalance near-term delivery commitments with long-term transformation goals.\nRequired Qualifications\n15+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including senior leadership roles managing large, global teams.\nProven experience building and modernizing large-scale, enterprise platforms, including transformation of legacy systems.\nStrong development experience with:\nAWS (cloud-native services, scalability, security)\nKafka\nData modeling and large-scale data architectures\nETL / data ingestion and processing pipelines\nExperience with high-volume, mission-critical systems such as transaction processing / financial services platforms is strongly preferred.\nDeep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures.\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-year transformation initiatives.\nBuilt, mentored, and led high performing, distributed, Agile engineering teams.\nApplied deep AI tooling experience to drive the adoption of AI-assisted development practices, increasing engineering productivity and accelerating release cycles.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in financial services, capital markets, or regulated environments.\nStrong understanding of DevOps, SRE, and modern observability practices.\nExperience in Composition platforms (e.g., OpenText Exstream, Smart COMM, Adobe)\nExperience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.\nLeadership Competencies\nStrategic thinker with strong execution discipline\nExcellent communicator with executive presence\nCollaborative, inclusive leader who builds trust across functions\nResults-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability\nCompensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $250,000.00- $275,000.00 USD.\nBroadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.\nBonus Eligibility: Bonus Eligible\nBenefits Information: Please visit www.broadridgebenefits.com for more information on our comprehensive benefit offerings for this role.\nWe are dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment and are committed to providing a workplace that empowers associates to be authentic and bring their best to work.
