This leader will manage an organization of approximately 60-70 engineering professionals while remaining hands-on in technology, platform architecture, and delivery decisions.\nThe role is responsible for transforming legacy applications and migrating capabilities to an integrated, scalable platform. The VP will drive adoption of AI-enabled tools and practices, strengthen engineering execution, and ensure the technology roadmap aligns with evolving buy-side market needs and client expectations.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, develop, and inspire a team of 60-70 software engineering professionals, managers, and technical leaders.\nDefine and execute the engineering strategy and technology roadmap for Asset Management Solutions.\nDrive the modernization and transformation of legacy applications, including migration to an integrated platform architecture.\nRemain actively engaged in technical decisions involving application architecture, platform strategy, integration, scalability, reliability, security, and performance.\nPartner with product, business, operations, and technology leaders to prioritize investments and deliver solutions aligned with client and market needs.\nIdentify and advance opportunities to embed AI across the software development lifecycle, engineering operations, and business-facing solutions.\nEstablish modern engineering practices across Agile delivery, software quality, testing, release management, observability, and production support.\nApply knowledge of buy-side business trends, workflows, and technology needs to shape platform capabilities and modernization priorities.\nLead organizational and technology change initiatives, communicating a clear vision and creating alignment across stakeholders.\nInfluence senior leaders, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners to build commitment and drive execution against strategic priorities.\nEstablish clear performance metrics, delivery governance, and accountability for engineering quality, platform stability, modernization progress, and business outcomes.\nRecruit, develop, and retain strong engineering talent while fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nQualifications\nDeep experience in Buy Side OMS and Asset Management\nSignificant leadership experience in software engineering, application development, platform engineering, or technology transformation.\nDemonstrated success leading engineering organizations of substantial scale, including managers, architects, and software development teams.\nDeep technical knowledge of software architecture, enterprise applications, APIs, Kafka, Java, C#, cloud platforms, systems integration, and modern software delivery practices.\nProven experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating technology capabilities to integrated, scalable platforms.\nExperience driving technology transformation, organizational change, and adoption of new engineering practices.\nStrong understanding of AI adoption, including the use of AI tools across the software development lifecycle and in business-facing technology solutions.\nKnowledge of the asset management and buy-side technology landscape, including market trends, workflows, and evolving client needs.\nAbility to operate as a hands-on technology leader while setting strategy and leading through a large organization.\nStrong executive communication, stakeholder-management, and influencing skills.\nDemonstrated ability to build followership, align diverse teams, and lead complex change initiatives through execution.\n\nLeadership Profile\nThe successful candidate is a strategic, technically credible leader who can balance modernization with day-to-day delivery. They will bring a strong point of view on platform transformation and AI adoption, while building trust with engineering teams and business stakeholders. This individual will be able to influence at all levels of the organization, create alignment around a shared vision, and lead teams through meaningful technology and organizational change.\nSalary range $275,,000.00- $300,000.00 USD.
