Broccoli is building an AI intelligence layer that automates front-office operations for home service businesses. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll develop end-to-end product features that help businesses automate workflows like job booking, technician dispatch, and customer interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and ship end-to-end product features across backend (frontend experience is a plus).
  • Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and GTM teams to deliver features from concept to production.
  • Work closely with customers to understand real-world problems and improve the product.
  • Improve system reliability, performance, and developer productivity.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong backend development skills (frontend experience is an advantage).
  • Experience building and shipping production-grade products.
  • Ability to work independently with high ownership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate business workflows into software solutions.
  • Exposure to AI tools or AI-powered products is preferred.

Preferred Background:

  • Product-based or startup experience.
  • Tier 1 or Tier 2 educational background preferred.
  • Experience at high-growth startups is a plus.
  • Side projects, open-source contributions, or entrepreneurial experience are valued.
