We are looking for a [Role Title] to help us keep moving differently.\nAs Brompton continues to grow, the need to centralise and control the indirect spend has become increasingly important, and as such Brompton is looking for someone to support the Indirect Procurement Manager with the day-to-day indirect procurement activities. This role will require you to be a self-starter, good at analysing data, whilst ensuring that parts/services and contracts are delivered in line with the business and stakeholders’ expectations.\nTargeting cost saving & consolidation opportunities in the indirect categories whilst maintaining quality and service.\nAnalysing the current spends and look for opportunities to save costs in line with the business KPI’s.\nDrive and develop a reliable, sustainable, and robust supply chain for alternatively sourced parts and services.\nHelp develop and implement contracts and long-term agreement for all newly sourced parts and services.\nManaging bids and tenders for all contracting work\nReducing the burden on BBL trading terms and import duties (where applicable) and taxes.\nMaintain records of goods ordered and received, ensuring that any issues are fully investigated and resolved.\nDevelop and introduce KPI's throughout the indirect categories.\nAttending internal meetings as and when necessary, with various departments.\nCompliance with the processes and procedures in place within BBL.\nWorking on other projects as and when required\nAny other tasks that may be deemed necessary.\nWho you are:\nGood communication skills at different levels of the business.\nAbility to build key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.\nKeen attention to detail.\nDriven, motivated and a positive attitude.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.\nPunctual, methodical, adaptable, and reliable.\nGood negotiation skills.\nGood analytical skills\nDesired Experience:\nExperience working with suppliers.\nExperience in a “hands on” procurement role.\nWorking knowledge of MRP/APS systems\nA good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Teams.\nCIPS certified, desirable but not essential.\nWhy Brompton?\nBecause we make bikes that surprise and delight, we want people who do the same.
