Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and teams across the organization, you will oversee core accounting processes, maintain the integrity of financial information, and provide meaningful financial insights to support strategic decision-making.\nYou will also support the Accounts Payable Specialist, identify opportunities to automate and improve finance processes, and contribute to efficient, reliable financial operations. This role is ideal for an analytical and proactive accounting professional who enjoys improving processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and turning financial information into actionable insights.\nKey Accountabilities\nAccounting & Financial Operations\nOversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger processes to ensure financial accuracy and timely completion.\nMaintain and continuously improve key management estimates and accounting practices.\nCalculate and record work-in-progress (WIP) accruals and related accounting impacts on a monthly basis.\nSupport the Accounts Payable Specialist and provide guidance on accounting processes as required.\nStay current on evolving accounting standards and research alternative accounting treatments where appropriate.\nFinancial Reporting & Analysis\nPrepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules.\nDevelop and enhance financial reporting and business intelligence tools to improve visibility into organizational performance.\nProduce budget-to-actual and forecast variance reports, identifying trends and areas requiring further analysis.\nProvide financial analysis and insights to support business planning and informed decision-making.\nSupport the Chief Financial Officer with the annual financial statement audit, including coordinating documentation and responding to auditor requests.\nAutomation & Process Improvement\nIdentify and implement opportunities to automate finance processes and reduce manual work.\nRecommend and implement improvements to accounting workflows, systems, and internal procedures.\nDevelop efficient, consistent processes that improve accuracy, strengthen controls, and support scalability.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve recurring errors, improve data quality, and streamline financial operations.\nBudgeting & Forecasting\nSupport the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department leaders and budget owners.\nPrepare and maintain income statement forecasts to support financial planning.\nWork with stakeholders to review financial results, understand variances, and improve budget accuracy.\nProvide financial guidance and reporting to help leaders understand performance and make informed resource-allocation decisions.\nIdeal Candidate Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.\nCPA designation completed or currently in progress.\nExperience\nFour to five years of experience in a Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, or equivalent role.\nExperience in business accounting;
