The Cornerstone adult programs are designed to enhance skills and promote social interaction, community engagement, and physical activity.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nRecruit, interview and recommend new hires.\nEstablish and monitor quality assurance of program goals in compliance with agency and contract expectations.\nMonitor program’s contractual compliance and meet with contract manager during site visits.\nAssist will program and facility operations/functionality. \nAct as a conduit with funding source DYCD, DOH, NYCHA and FDNY.\nAttend internal and external agency/contract meetings.\nAttend contract and agency training sessions as provided.\nConduct monthly staff meetings or more frequently as required. \nSupervise and evaluate staff performance, providing monthly written feedback.\nComplete each staff members’ annual performance review.\nProvide staff training on program goals and duties as well as expectations to the agency.\nMeet monthly with Program Director for exchange of ideas and written feedback.\nSubmit monthly reports to supervisor and funding source.\nPerform additional duties as assigned. \nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelors degree with a minimum of two years program experience.\nOther experience preferred including bilingual in English and Spanish\nEngaging personality and detailed orientated skills are essential.\nStrong oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills are necessary.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other standard business technology is required. \nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to use a computer for prolonged periods\nAbility to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds\nAbility to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time\nAbility to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents\nAbility to commute within the Bronx\nBronxWorks is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive workplace.
