This is a broad, execution focused role spanning media relations, content development and project management. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is mandatory. \nThe role combines strong editorial capability with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate across stakeholders and support strategic communications initiatives across the Middle East. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping scale and execute Brookfield’s content and communications strategy here, supporting storytelling across earned, owned and internal platforms.\nThis individual will help build and strengthen regional capability while bringing best practices from and alignment with Brookfield’s global communications framework. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, global environment. This position reports to the Head of Corporate Communications for India and Middle East.\nKey Responsibilities\nContent & Project Management (~60%)\nContent & Editorial\nDraft and edit high-quality content across formats, including transaction announcements, executive communications, internal memos, social media and digital content.\nSupport the development of owned content across channels (website, intranet, social, video, newsletters).\nIdentify opportunities to promote Brookfield’s brand, investments and thought leadership. Including on ground support for Brookfield events in the Middle East. Also includes identifying and tracking relevant industry thought leadership events and participation for Brookfield leaders. \nEnsure all content aligns with Brookfield’s tone of voice, brand standards and strategic priorities.\nProvide writing and editorial support to senior stakeholders and business teams\nContent Coordination & Project Management\nPlan and execute communications and content initiatives across Middle East\nManage timelines, approvals and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects\nCoordinate cross-functional workflows involving internal teams and external partners/agencies\nSupport development of multimedia content (including video), working with internal and external stakeholders\nMedia Relations (~40%)\nSupport proactive and reactive media engagement\nRespond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner, coordinating with internal stakeholders including Legal and business teams\nDraft and manage press materials including press releases, Q&As, briefing documents, talking points and media strategies.\nBuild and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets\nSupport issues and reputation management, including monitoring, escalation and response coordination\nQualifications And Experience\n7-10 years professional experience in communications - in agency or in-house\nFluency in written and spoken Arabic is mandatory. \nExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy and hands on approach\nExperience supporting content across digital and social channels\nOrganized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across geographies\nExperience working with media in the Middle East, ideally with exposure to financial services or related sectors\nCollaborative and comfortable working across teams and geographies\nTeam Overview\nThe Communications team is responsible for managing Brookfield’s brand and reputation in the Middle East. We steward the firm’s relationship with the media, clients, shareholders, policy makers, and the broader public, while ensuring that our own people remain informed about the firm’s evolving strategies.
