This role translates complex business needs into scalable, secure, and governed AI solution designs, including GenAI and agent-based use cases. Partners with business, product, data, engineering, security, and governance teams to move high-value AI solutions from concept to production.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssess business problems and define end-to-end AI solution architectures aligned to enterprise priorities\n\nTranslate product and business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable AI designs\n\nDefine architecture patterns for AI, GenAI, retrieval-based, and agent-enabled solutions\n\nEnsure solution designs are grounded in trusted data, integration, and platform architecture standards\n\nPartner with product owners, data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to shape implementation roadmaps\n\nGuide technology selection, integration patterns, and design decisions across AI solution components\n\nEstablish non-functional requirements for security, governance, performance, resiliency, and supportability\n\nEnsure AI solutions align with responsible AI, risk, compliance, and control requirements Review and govern solution designs through architecture checkpoints and design standards\n\nSupport pilots, production deployments, and architecture evolution based on business feedback and operational learnings\n\nRequired Experience\n10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, data architecture, or AI-related roles\n\nProven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise technology solutions across multiple systems and stakeholders\n\nExperience with AI, machine learning, GenAI, or advanced analytics solutions in production environments\n\nExperience working with cloud platforms, enterprise data ecosystems, APIs, and integration patterns\n\nExperience operating in regulated, security-conscious, or highly governed enterprise environments\n\nExperience partnering with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into architecture designs\n\nSkills & Qualifications\nTechnical knowledge and systems expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, AI and machine learning, GenAI, data platforms, integration patterns, and the data foundations required for scalable AI and agent-based solutions.\n\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to assess complex business and technical challenges and translate them into scalable, practical, and governed solution designs.\n\nCommunication and collaboration capabilities: Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influence skills.\n\nAbility to work in cross-functional or global teams: Experience operating across global teams and aligning business, product, architecture, engineering, security, and governance stakeholders.\n\nUnderstanding of technology governance, security, or operational practices: Strong understanding of responsible AI, risk management, security, compliance, and operational design requirements for enterprise AI solutions.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in financial services, asset management, or similarly complex industries\n\nExperience designing AI solutions that support decision-making, workflow automation, or knowledge-based use cases\n\nFamiliarity with modern cloud-based data and AI platforms and MLOps or model operations practices\n\nExperience with architecture governance, design review processes, or enterprise architecture frameworks\n\nExposure to retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge architectures, or agent orchestration patterns\n\nSalary Range: $150,000 - $185,000 CAD\nPosition Opening Reason:\nNew PositionBrookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
