Brookfield is committed to the development of our people through challenging work assignments and exposure to diverse businesses.\nJob Description\nPosition Summary\nThe Director, Internal Audit Analytics & Artificial Intelligence leads the Audit Analytics and AI function within Internal Audit, driving the adoption of data analytics, automation and emerging technologies to enhance audit quality, efficiency, and insight generation.\nReporting to the Audit and Analytics SVP, the Director partners closely with audit leaders and business stakeholders, both from Brookfield and Portfolio Companies, to integrate analytics and AI across the audit lifecycle, identify opportunities for innovation, and develop scalable solutions that strengthen the Internal Audit function. This role combines technical expertise with strong leadership, requiring excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nKey Responsibilities\nLeadership & Strategy\nLead the continued development and execution of the Internal Audit Analytics & AI strategy and roadmap.\n\nIdentify opportunities to expand analytics, automation, and AI across audit engagements.\n\nLead and develop a high-performing analytics team while fostering collaboration and innovation.\n\nEstablish priorities and best practices for analytics and AI within Internal Audit.\n\nAudit Analytics & AI\nLead the integration of analytics throughout the audit lifecycle.\n\nOversee scalable analytics to identify risks, anomalies, and control weaknesses.\n\nDrive the evaluation and implementation of AI, generative AI, process mining, and intelligent automation.\n\nPromote responsible AI practices aligned with governance expectations.\n\nStakeholder Collaboration\nPartner with audit leadership, Technology, Finance, Risk, and business stakeholders.\n\nPresent analytical findings and recommendations to senior management.\n\nTranslate technical concepts into clear business insights.\n\nTechnology Leadership\nProvide technical direction for Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Python and LLM tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude), including prompt engineering, automation and agents.\n\nSupport scalable data architecture and visualization capabilities.\n\nPeople Leadership\nMentor and develop analytics professionals.\n\nPromote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.\n\nSupport capability development.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or a related field.\n\nExperience\n10+ years of progressive experience in Audit Analytics and AI, Digital and AI Transformation.\n\nExperience leading analytics initiatives and managing teams.\n\nExperience presenting insights to senior management.\n\nLeadership Competencies\nStrategic thinker with strong business acumen.\n\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to influence without direct authority.\n\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\n\nPassion for innovation and emerging technologies.\n\nPosition Opening Reason:\nBackfillBrookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
