Brookfield is committed to the development of our people through challenging work assignments and exposure to diverse businesses.\n Job Description\nResponsibilities\nWorking on exciting analytics projects involving optimization, statistics, analytic modeling, data processing etc.\nSectors of interest including commercial and residential real estate, structured products, derivatives, equities, alternative investments \nAssisting current teams with ongoing business requirements\nMentorship opportunities, coaching and career guidance\nExposure to corporate culture and work environment through accounting related functions\nOngoing presentations and training\nFull-time (40 hrs/week from June 2027 to August 2027)\nQualifications & Requirements\nMust be enrolled in a degree related to business, data science, or a related field.\nStrong working knowledge of Excel and VBA\nStrong programming skills, with emphasis on Python\nStrong mathematical and mathematical-finance background\nThe ideal candidate will be service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), as well as a strong team player with a good work ethic.\nMust be able to come into the office.\nMust be able to work independently with minimal supervision.\nCandidate should be mature, tactful and possess a professional image.\nMust be able to prioritize tasks, work well under pressure and be self-motivated with a positive attitude.\nWorking knowledge of SQL is an asset.\nThis position would be suitable for those candidates who meet the role qualifications and who thrive in a performance-driven environment that emphasizes employee leadership and accountability for delivering results.\nCompensation\n$50 per hour\nOur compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive.
