This role will drive consolidation and financial strategy across North America to support executive decision-making, while remaining involved in the details to contribute directly to forecasting and budgeting.\nRole & Responsibilities:\nOversee the regional FP&A team of 3-5 employees in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.\n\nOwn, manage and lead the strategic planning for the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning, as well as discounted cash flows and valuations projections\n\nOversee the development and evolution of comprehensive dynamic financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis\n\nManage and provide strategic oversight to the monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statement forecasting\n\nOversee the quarterly leasing forecast, which includes updates of actual leasing activity, forecasted leasing assumptions, and early tenant expirations\n\nPartner with department heads and business units to align financial goals with operational objectives and provide them with necessary information for business functions\n\nPrepare, review and present financial presentations and reporting packages for upper management and investors, at various ownership levels\n\nChampion enhancements and continuous improvements in financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability\n\nOversee coordination with the accounting team during monthly close cycles to review results, investigate variances and ensure accurate financial reporting\n\nLead cross-functional collaboration across asset management, lease administration, corporate services, marketing, and investor relations\n\nOversee and add strategic insights to special or ad-hoc projects and financial analysis for management as needed\n\nOversee and conduct comprehensive evaluations of investment performance and returns\n\nStrategically manage cash flow and equity allocations across designated investment portfolios\n\nAdvance strategic business objectives across a diversified portfolio of investments at varying stages of development\n\nTeam Leadership\n\nProvide input on current and future staffing needs to Vice President, Finance to support operational demands\n\nActively coach and develop direct reports, providing real-time feedback and structured growth plans that empower the team to deliver high-impact financial narratives\n\nFoster a collaborative and inclusive team culture through regular feedback, coaching, and performance management practices\n\nYour Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred\n\n8-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role\n\nExperience working in commercial office real estate preferred.\n\nStrong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills\n\nDeep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and strategic planning\n\nProven ability to present complex financial information to senior executives and non-financial stakeholders.\n\nExperience with financial systems such as Yardi Voyage\n\nExperience leading the adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve financial planning, reporting, and operational efficiency\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to be flexible and dynamic as the business moves and changes are made\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team\n\nYour Career @ BGRE:\nAt BGRE, your career progression is important to us.
