This role will help drive financial planning and analysis across budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and investment performance, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and presenting insights to senior leadership and investors. If you are committed to excellence and ready to contribute to a dynamic culture, we would love to meet you.\nRole & Responsibilities:\nLead and manage large components the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning, as well as discounted cash flows and valuation projections, reviewing and guiding the work of direct reports and/or in-direct reports (other team members or partners)\n\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive dynamic financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis\n\nReview the monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statement forecasting\n\nSupport the preparation and review of quarterly leasing forecast, which includes updates of actual leasing activity, forecasted leasing assumptions, and early tenant expirations\n\nSupport the partnership with department heads and business units to align financial goals with operational objectives and provide them with necessary information for business functions\n\nPrepare, review and communicate financial presentations and reporting packages for upper management and investors, at various ownership levels\n\nSeek continuous improvements in financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability\n\nWork closely with the accounting team during monthly close cycles to ensure accuracy\n\nCoordinate with asset management, lease administration, corporate services, marketing, and investor relations\n\nPerform ad-hoc projects and financial analysis for management as needed\n\nSupport the analysis of investment performance and returns across designated assets\n\nAssist with managing the cash flow and equity allocations across designated investment portfolios\n\nCommunicate financial insights to support the advancement of strategic business objectives across a diversified portfolio of investments at varying stages of development\n\nTeam Leadership\nProvide input on current and future staffing needs to Vice President, Finance to support operational demands\n\nActively coach and develop direct reports and/or indirect reports (other team members or partners), providing real-time feedback and structured growth plans that empower the team to deliver high-impact financial narratives\n\nFoster a collaborative and inclusive team culture through regular feedback, coaching, and performance management practices\n\nYour Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred\n\n5-7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 1-2 years managing a team\n\nExperience working in commercial office real estate preferred.\n\nStrong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills\n\nSolid understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and strategic planning\n\nProven ability to present complex financial information to senior executives and non-financial stakeholders.\n\nExperience with financial systems such as Yardi Voyage\n\nExperience applying AI tools to improve team productivity, streamline financial processes, and support data-driven decision-making\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to be flexible and dynamic as the business moves and changes are made\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team\n\nYour Career @ BGRE:\nAt BGRE, your career progression is important to us.
