Join us at Brooks Automation and be a part of a dynamic organization that is shaping the future of technology.\nMaterials Planner IIIJob Description\nJob Description:\nWe have multiple headcounts both for Material Planner & Senior Material Planner\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior/Material Planner to join us at our Greenfield manufacturing facility in Johor Bahru Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with a focus on ensuring efficient material flow to support production schedules and meet customer demands. In this critical role at Brooks, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring seamless material flow, optimizing inventory, and supporting our production goals. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a passion for supply chain excellence, we want to hear from you!\nWork Location: Onsite - Johor, Malaysia.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and manage material planning processes to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.\nReview weekly demand versus Supply plan for intercompany and direct customer orders\nCoordinate with suppliers, procurement, and production teams to align material supply with production schedules and potential shortages and mitigates actions to overcome this\nMonitor inventory levels and adjust planning strategies to minimize excess stock and prevent shortages and actively support Clear-To-Build (CTB).\nAnalyze material usage trends and forecast future requirements to support production goals and develop a suitable strategy for replenishment, or contingency for any shortages, stocking policies.\nResolve material-related issues, including delays and quality concerns, to maintain production continuity, collaborate with buyers and ensure PROD schedules are on time to meet the delivery dates.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and drive continuous improvement\nEstablish strong working relationship with overseas contract manufacturers to prioritize orders and manage expedite requests.\nProvide customer support for Spares, including driving On Time Delivery (OTD)\nManage and commitment follow-up/escalations on delivery on spares.\nResponsible for shipment coordination/communicate when necessary to support spares shipment with logistics team.\nManage and document improvements that focus on making internal and external processes more efficient\nAdditional duties based on business needs.\nQualifications:\nDegree / Diploma in Operations, Materials, Business or equivalent with 6-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role\nStrong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and inventory management practices.\nFamiliarity with planning, costing and materials.\nComputer literate with experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)\nAbility to operate in a cross-functional team to meet customer expectations and to work well under pressure\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.\nDetail oriented with good organizational skills; fluent in English (spoken & written)\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and regulatory authorities.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.\nProficiency in using ERP applications, i.e. Oracle Cloud / SAP ERP and capable of running reports and consolidating the statutory requirements for compliance\nStrong problem-solving skills, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.\nWhat we offer:\nCompetitive Salary and benefits package\nOpportunity to work in a state-of-art semiconductor manufacturing facility\nDynamic and innovative work environment\nCareer advancement opportunities within a global company\nWork Location & Flexibility\nAt Brooks, we aim to foster a collaborative and engaging environment while offering flexibility where possible.
