Join us at Brooks Automation and be a part of a dynamic organization that is shaping the future of technology.\nSupplier Quality EngineerJob Description\nPosition Summary\nThe Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring that all suppliers-especially Contract Manufacturers (CMs)-consistently meet the company’s quality, reliability, and compliance expectations. This role oversees supplier performance, conducts audits, resolves quality issues, and drives continuous improvement across the supply chain.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupplier Quality Oversight\nUphold quality expectations and ensure all suppliers-including CMs-meet drawing, specification, and process requirements.\n\nWork closely with suppliers to ensure components and assemblies are ready for production and meet all technical requirements.\n\nEstablish and maintain a qualified and reliable supplier base to support ongoing business needs.\n\nSupplier Audits & Compliance\nPlan, conduct, and document supplier process audits, system audits, and product audits to verify compliance with quality and operational standards.\n\nMonitor CM process controls, calibration practices, incoming inspection processes, and manufacturing consistency.\n\nDrive corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings, tracking closure and effectiveness.\n\nQuality Issue Resolution\nLead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action (CAPA) activities for supplier-related issues to ensure timely resolution.\n\nSupport MRB activities and supplier containment actions for non-conforming materials.\n\nCollaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to resolve supplier technical issues and ensure uninterrupted production.\n\nNew Product Introduction (NPI) Support\nQualify new suppliers and new components for NPI builds.\n\nReview PPAP/FAI submissions to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.\n\nSupport sample builds, supplier readiness reviews, and ramp-up activities at CMs.\n\nContinuous Improvement & Quality Systems\nDrive supplier continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process capability, reduce defects, and improve yield performance.\n\nDevelop, update, and implement quality procedures, work instructions, and engineering standards related to supplier quality management.\n\nSupport performance monitoring using KPIs such as defect rate, audit scores, and document compliance.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\nDegree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.\n\n5-7 years of supplier quality experience in semiconductor, high-tech, or advanced manufacturing environments.\n\nHands-on experience with supplier audits, PPAP/FAI, RCA/CAPA, SPC, and control plan methodologies.\n\nStrong ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.\n\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.\n\nAbility to travel to supplier facilities (up to ~30%).\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience working directly with Contract Manufacturers in mechanical/electromechanical assembly environments.\n\nKnowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949, or equivalent quality management systems.\n\nExperience in Lean/6σ methodologies.\n\nProficiency with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab.\n\nSalary Ranges\nNT$1,131,599.57 TWD to
