As part of our strategic expansion in Malaysia, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to enable best in class materials management and material flow in and out of the manufacturing areas at our brand-new Greenfield facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.\nThe Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all planning activities related to material control, inventory control, kitting and cycle count programs. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in materials management within the semiconductor equipment industry, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities. You will develop and implement stockroom procedures, kitting strategies that align with the overall business objectives, including safety, efficiency improvements, and meeting customer demands.\nReceiving Management\nLead and manage all receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate receipt of raw materials, purchased parts, and supplier deliveries.\nEstablish receiving processes to verify quantity, quality, documentation, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.\nCoordinate with Procurement, Planning, Quality, and suppliers to resolve receiving discrepancies, damaged materials, and non-conforming shipments.\nMonitor receiving performance metrics including dock-to-stock cycle time, receiving accuracy, and supplier delivery compliance.\nOptimize receiving area layout and material flow to prevent congestion and improve operational efficiency.\nKitting Operations\nDevelop and implement kitting strategies that support production schedules and customer commitments.\nEnsure timely and accurate preparation, staging, and delivery of production kits to manufacturing lines.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce kit shortages, kit errors, and production interruptions.\nEstablish visual management and material identification standards to improve kit accuracy and traceability.\nCollaborate with Production, Planning, and Engineering teams to support new product introduction (NPI) and engineering changes.\nInventory Control & Cycle Count Management\nEnsure inventory accuracy through effective inventory control processes, transaction discipline, and stock reconciliation activities.\nLead cycle count programs, root cause investigations, and corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy targets.\nManage inventory health by monitoring excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and non-conforming materials.\nEstablish warehouse controls to ensure FIFO compliance, lot traceability, and material accountability.\nAnalyze inventory trends and develop action plans to optimize inventory levels while supporting business requirements.\nLeverage ERP systems to maintain data integrity and inventory visibility.\nProduction Replenishment & Material Flow\nOversee material replenishment processes to ensure uninterrupted production operations.\nImplement pull systems, Kanban, supermarket, and visual replenishment methodologies to improve material availability.\nMonitor production material consumption and coordinate replenishment activities to prevent shortages and line stoppages.\nPartner with Planning and Production teams to align replenishment strategies with demand forecasts and manufacturing schedules.\nDrive warehouse-to-production material flow improvements to reduce handling time, improve space utilization, and enhance operational efficiency.\nEstablish and monitor KPIs related to replenishment performance, line-side inventory, and material availability.\nLeadership & Continuous Improvement\nLead, coach, and develop warehouse teams to achieve operational excellence, safety, quality, delivery, and inventory targets.\nDrive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.\nDevelop warehouse capacity plans, manpower strategies, and operational readiness plans to support business growth.\nManage warehouse performance through data-driven KPI reviews and corrective action plans.\n\nQualifications & Competencies:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or other related field with 10+ years of experience in warehouse management, ideally within the semiconductor or related high-tech, manufacturing industry. Only manufacturing industry candidates will be considered.\nProven track record of successful logistics strategy and execution \nStrong understanding of Malaysian and international shipping regulations and compliance standards which involves customs regulations and import/export laws. \nProficiency in analyzing data to monitor performance, forecast needs, and make informed decisions using advanced logistics software/ERP to manage inventory levels, track shipments, and optimize routes. \nUnderstanding budgeting, cost management, and financial factors is essential for making decisions balancing cost with service quality. \nFluent in English (mandatory) and Bahasa Malaysia (preferred) \nWork Location & Flexibility\nAt Brooks, we aim to foster a collaborative and engaging environment while offering flexibility where possible.
