Your responsibility will be to ensure the underlying infrastructure is configured, accessible, and ready for those deployments.\nYou'll troubleshoot server connectivity, firewall restrictions, authentication failures, and access permissions. You'll also coordinate with networking, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and work through the approvals required in a regulated enterprise environment.\nThis is a hands-on infrastructure administration role, not a position focused on writing automation code.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nAdminister and troubleshoot Linux and/or Windows server infrastructure across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.\nInvestigate connectivity issues that prevent automation platforms from communicating with servers and infrastructure systems.\nDiagnose network, DNS, firewall, routing, and authentication issues to identify the source of deployment failures.\nSubmit and coordinate firewall rule changes, network access requests, and security approvals.\nConfigure and troubleshoot user permissions, service accounts, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and authentication methods.\nWork with identity and access management (IAM) and security teams to resolve authorization and access restrictions.\nSupport infrastructure readiness for deployments managed through Ansible and Terraform, without being responsible for developing the automation code.\nTroubleshoot server configurations, operating system issues, and VMware or similar virtualization environments.\nFollow enterprise change-management and security procedures when making infrastructure changes.\nPartner with automation engineers, server administrators, network engineers, and security teams to resolve deployment blockers.\nDocument troubleshooting steps, infrastructure changes, and resolutions.\nShare infrastructure knowledge with junior engineers and participate in the team's agile workflows.\nWHAT YOU BRING\n7-10+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, server engineering, or network engineering.\nExperience administering and troubleshooting enterprise Linux and/or Windows servers.\nWorking knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, routing, connectivity troubleshooting, and firewall concepts.\nExperience investigating firewall restrictions and coordinating firewall rule requests or network access changes.\nExperience managing user accounts, service accounts, permissions, and authentication configurations.\nFamiliarity with RBAC, IAM, Active Directory, LDAP, SSH, or similar access-management technologies.\nUnderstanding of infrastructure security controls and enterprise change-management processes.\nExperience troubleshooting production infrastructure issues and working with multiple technical teams to resolve them.\nExperience with VMware, Hyper-V, or comparable virtualization platforms.\nAbility to independently investigate technical issues, identify dependencies, and coordinate their resolution.\nNICE TO HAVE\nFamiliarity with Ansible, Terraform, or other infrastructure automation tools.\nExperience supporting automation platforms or troubleshooting infrastructure issues affecting automated deployments.\nExperience working in a utility, financial services, healthcare, government, or another regulated environment.\nExperience supporting infrastructure across both on-premises data centers and cloud environments.\nExperience mentoring or supporting junior infrastructure or automation engineers.\nThis position is suited to an infrastructure engineer who enjoys diagnosing why systems cannot communicate, identifying where access is restricted, and coordinating the changes needed to get deployments
