{"id":1201196,"url":"https://alion.io/job/broughton-sanctuary-wellbeing-assistant","title":"Wellbeing Assistant","company":{"id":672635,"name":"Broughton Sanctuary","domain":"broughtonsanctuary.co.uk","url":"https://alion.io/company/broughtonsanctuary","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workable","truth_index":null},"role":"Operations","role_family":"Operations","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Broughton, United Kingdom"],"countries":["GB"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":41000,"max_usd":109000,"period":"year","method":"role_country_seniority_unknown","sample_n":193},"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-09-24T20:55:02Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-09-24","last_verified_at":"2026-09-29T04:05:30Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":4,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":4},"description":"Join our Wellbeing Team\nWe are looking for a warm, organised and proactive Wellbeing Assistant to join our team at Broughton Sanctuary.\nOur five-star wellbeing centre welcomes Sanctuary guests alongside a programme of exceptional retreats, workshops, concerts, classes and visiting practitioners.\nWorking closely alongside the Wellbeing Operations Lead, you will help ensure the wellbeing centre runs smoothly day to day and that our guests, practitioners and retreat facilitators receive a warm, professional and seamless experience.\nThis is a varied, hands-on role combining hospitality, administration, guest experience, retreat support and day-to-day building operations.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nWelcoming and looking after guests, retreat participants and visiting practitioners. \nAnswering the phone, responding to emails and dealing with day-to-day enquiries. \nManaging bookings and guest information through our booking and back-office systems. \nMaintaining the wellbeing and practitioner databases. \nActing as a link between practitioners and guests, helping with bookings, communications and practical arrangements. \nSupporting retreat facilitators and practitioners on the ground during retreats, workshops and events. \nHelping set up and prepare rooms and spaces for yoga, Pilates, workshops, concerts, retreats and other activities. \nSupporting the wellbeing schedule and helping guests access classes and experiences. \nSupporting the wellbeing shop, including guest engagement, sales and identifying interesting new wellbeing products. \nCarrying out daily building, presentation and health & safety checks, including fire safety checks. \nSupporting opening and closing procedures, emergency procedures and clear team handovers. \nReporting maintenance, safety or operational issues promptly. \nHelping maintain the wellbeing centre to the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and readiness. \nSupporting the Wellbeing Operations Lead with the day-to-day running of the centre and wider operational tasks. \nBringing ideas and enthusiasm to help continually improve the guest experience and wellbeing offering. \nRequirements\nYou will be:\nWarm, friendly and naturally hospitable. \nOrganised, reliable and proactive. \nConfident using computers, email, databases and booking systems. \nComfortable answering the phone and communicating professionally with guests and practitioners. \nPractical and hands-on, with a “see it, sort it” attitude. \nCalm and capable when things get busy. \nPassionate about and knowledgeable in the wellbeing, wellness and holistic world. \nGenuinely interested in yoga, meditation, movement, retreats, holistic practices and personal wellbeing. \nCurious about new developments, practitioners, products and experiences within the wellness industry. \nHappy to take responsibility for making sure things are done properly. \nA positive team player who enjoys working alongside others. \nA yoga, Pilates or other wellbeing qualification would be a real advantage.
