The candidate should be able to work with limited direct supervision and be proactive to the needs of the environment. The candidate should be able to quickly shift focus from project to support work as needed. An individual with previous trading or financial services experience is preferred. This role supports a hybrid, cloud-connected enterprise network with a focus on secure connectivity, cloud network controls, identity-aware access, monitoring, and hardware-agnostic architecture across on-premises, data center, cloud, and SaaS environments.\nThe primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nMaintain core networking equipment [Switching / Routing / Firewalls / Wireless].\n\nTriage network and systems related issues escalated with Service Desk.\n\nDesign and support system architecture.\n\nDesign, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud networking and security services within Azure and hybrid environments.\n\nSupport and optimize voice, video, collaboration, and other cloud-based applications and services.\n\nAssist in the design, implementation and management of enterprise SASE/SSE, Zero Trust, and secure access solutions.\n\nAssist the security team in reviewing IOCs, network events, cloud security alerts, vulnerability findings, and anomalous activity.\n\nSupport cloud network security controls including segmentation, private connectivity, VPN services, routing, and cloud-native firewalls.\n\nDevelop and maintain network and cloud architecture documentation, standards, diagrams, and operational runbooks.\n\nEnsure change process is followed; create and execute detailed change tickets.\n\nParticipate in infrastructure automation and modernization initiatives.\n\nJob Requirements:\n4+ yearsof experienceasa networkengineerpreferred\n\nBachelor’sdegree or 8+ years of work experience\n\nProvenanalyticaland problem-solving abilities\n\nAbility to evolve with growing techs space.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nProficient in Wireshark, packet tracing or comparable tools to determine attribution of technical issues\n\nExperience supporting enterprise switching, routing, wireless, and firewall platforms; Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, Meraki, or equivalent technologies preferred\n\nCore networking concepts, VLANs, Subnets, Trunking, Routing Protocols\n\nExperience with network security products, Cisco ISE/NAC, Forescout, etc\n\nLogic Monitor / Environmental Monitoring Systems\n\nBasic AD administration knowledge - DHCP, DNS and AD Sites and Services\n\nExperience with vulnerability management and cloud security platforms such as Tenable, Defender for Cloud, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or equivalent\n\nAzure networking and cloud security experience including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, load balancers, private endpoints, VPN gateways, and hybrid connectivity\n\nExperience with SASE/SSE, ZTNA, CASB, Secure Web Gateway, and modern remote access technologies\n\nKnowledge of Zero Trust architecture, NAC solutions, identity-aware access controls, and least privilege design principles\n\nExperiencesupporting virtual environments, such as Hyper-V, VMWare, Nutanix\n\nExperience with monitoring, observability, SIEM, and log analysis platforms.\n\nExposure to infrastructure automation using Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar tools.\n\nDatacentersupportknowledge(HVAC,Power,monitoring software)\n\nPersonal Attributes:\nPositiveattitude\n\nTreat all employees and contacts with mutual respect\n\nAbility to work autonomously or with limited supervision\n\nTime managementand prioritization skills\n\nExcellentorganization andcommunicationskills\n\nVendormanagementskills\n\nAbilitytowriteand followtechnicaldocumentation\n\nBig picturefocused\n\nDetailoriented\n\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization (e.g., H-1B , O-1, F-1 (OPT), TN, or any other non-immigrant visa classifications that require employer support or sponsorship).\nMD Salary: $105-$130k.
