In this role you will beresponsible for architecture, design and implementation of business-critical low-code/no-code applications that constitute a business process fabric for many BBH’s business teams. This position requires a skilled individual who understands how to effectively inspire a technical team to use available technologies to create a stable platform for business users.\nIn our team, you will be responsible for:\nManage development team, guide and provide training to junior team members.\n\nCommunicate efficiently within and outside the team\n\nFacilitate architecture discussions and design decisions\n\nProvide technical leadership on best practices for chosen architecture and technology\n\nDesign and develop distributed computing systems used by internal and external clients\n\nConduct code reviews for the team and have well establish standards and practices for the team\n\nIdentify issues and risks and proactively add to the iterative discussion\n\nWork with business uses to address needs of scalability, testability, security, resiliency\n\nFoster automation and support building CI/CD pipelines\n\nConduct technical research and provide recommendation as required, altering the recommended technology stack for the department and ensuring it’s up to date with latest industry standards\n\nDevelop employees by providing training, mentoring, appropriately challenging assignments and assistance with career planning.\n\nAssist in the hiring process of qualified personnel\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\nBS degree in Technology and/or equivalent work experience\n\nMinimum of 9 years of professional experience as a software engineer, in back-end or full-stack capacity\n\nMinimum of 2 years in a technology lead position, being responsible for the system design and architecture or application delivery\n\nStrong technology background, hands-on experience in development\n\nComfortable with Agile operating models\n\nExcellent Communication skills, fluent English\n\nProven track record in designing large scale distributed systems with Java technologies\n\nExperience with test and build automation using CI/CD pipelines\n\nIn-depth understanding the concepts of databases, popular Web frameworks, Enterprise Integrations concepts (queue, pub-sub, REST API)\n\nExperience with microservice architecture\n\nCore technical skill set include Java, Spring, SQL, Hibernate, Kafka\n\nExposure to reactive front-end technologies like Angular is a plus\n\nFamiliarity with cloud technologies, knowledge of OpenShift (Docker, Kubernetes)\n\nWhat we offer:\nTo encourage cultural awareness and philanthropy, BBHers have\n\nCulture Celebration Day and 1 Community Service Day in addition to their paid standard vacation allowance\n\nPrivate medical care\n\nLife Insurance\n\nEmployee Assistance Program - offering independent and confidential counselling services for you and your family.
