Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Senior Lead Python Developer to join our Cyber Security organization.\nMain areas of responsibilities:\nAs a Senior Lead Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software systems primarily using Python, SQL, Bash, Javascript, and other related technologies.\nYou will build interactive data reporting and visualizations using Plotly Dash, D3.js, AG Grid, and other tools that best meet the requirements of our business users\nYou will work with Cyber business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into building and maintaining Apache Airflow DAGs\nYou will be working on expanding and maintaining our Django web application, building, and maintaining Plotly Dash-based visualizations, building, and maintaining Python-based ETL applications, researching emerging technologies, and helping us manage our server infrastructure.\nYou will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of internal clients\nYou will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and standards while utilizing development standards including well-documented testing.\nYou will continuously review our software systems and identify areas for improvement, implementing new features, and optimizing performance; you will also leverage your experience to suggest processes to automate.\nYou will stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to software systems as appropriate.\nYou will aid with performance optimization and security testing initiatives to improve the under\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field\n15+ years of experience in data engineering and software development, using Python (including Django) and SQL\nDemonstrated knowledge of:\nBuilding and maintaining ETL data pipelines\nBuilding data visualizations (experience with charting libraries such as Dash and Plotly a plus)\nStrong understanding of software development principles and best practices, including Agile methodologies, version control, continuous integration, and testing.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software systems.\nExperience integrating front-end and back-end technologies such as Django and FastAPI\nExperience with creating and maintaining architecture documentation and flow charts\nExperience working with Linux-based infrastructure and services in a corporate setting.\nExperience with secure coding principles and security best practices\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nThis role is expected to lead 5-6 junior Python developers\nWe value diverse experiences.
