The Enterprise Architect, Digital Experience owns the future of how brokers and customers experience Brown & Brown digitally. defining target-state and transition-state architecture for broker tools, customer portals, CRM, and content platforms, and charting a realistic path to get there. This role sits at the enterprise level: setting direction, standards, and architecture strategy for the experience platform landscape (including Salesforce and Adobe), rather than performing platform configuration or administration directly.\nA central mandate of this role is building one unified digital experience architecture across Brown & Brown, rather than separate solutions for each part of the business. The role partners closely with delivery teams, domain architects, and solution architects - building unconstrained roadmaps (the ideal path) and reconciling them into constrained, fundable roadmaps with delivery and business leadership.\nHow you will Contribute: \nTarget-State & Transition-State Leadership\nOwn the multi-year target-state vision for broker/customer digital experience and the transition states to get there\nDrive a unified enterprise experience architecture that serves Retail and Specialty Distribution on shared platforms and standards, rather than siloed, segment-specific solutions\nBuild unconstrained roadmaps, then partner with delivery/PMO/finance to reconcile them into constrained, fundable plans\nEvaluate emerging CX technology and recommend adoption paths\nExperience Platform Strategy\nSet enterprise architecture direction and standards for the experience platform landscape, including CRM and content/experience platforms such as Salesforce and Adobe\nDefine how broker-facing tools and customer-facing experiences should connect as one coherent system across the enterprise\nGuide platform and delivery teams on architectural fit, integration approach, and long-term scalability of experience technology decisions\nEvaluate new CX/CRM/experience platform capabilities and make enterprise-level adoption recommendations\nArchitecture & Delivery Partnership\nEngage early in program-level planning and solution reviews - shape direction while designs are forming\nServe as a standing consultative resource for solution architects and front-end/UX engineers\nArbitrate trade-offs between experience quality, platform constraints, and delivery timelines\nInnovation Advocacy\nChampion emerging experience technology - CX, personalization, AI-assisted broker tools\nSponsor POCs and pilots to de-risk new technology before enterprise-wide adoption\nOwn intake/evaluation of new experience tools proposed by teams or vendors\nStandards & Patterns\nAuthor architecture principles and standards for digital experience and front-end engineering\nMaintain a pattern library, reference architecture, and ADRs for broker/customer experience components\nPromote API-first, headless, and modern integration patterns\nGovernance\nEstablish lightweight, delivery-friendly governance for experience projects\nEmbed security- and privacy-by-design principles with Information Security\nTrack and mitigate technical debt within experience platforms\nStakeholder Leadership\nAdvise executives on digital experience strategy in business terms\nFacilitate architecture review boards for experience initiatives\nMentor solution architects and front-end/UX engineers; drive standards adoption through influence\nSkills and Experience to be Successful: \n Bachelor's degree in computer science, HCI, Information Systems, or related field\n10+ years in IT, mostly in digital experience, CX, CRM, or front-end-adjacent architecture\n5+ years in Enterprise, Solutions, or Digital/CX Architecture leadership\nWorking knowledge of Salesforce and Adobe experience platforms at an architectural level (implementation-level expertise not required)\nStrong front-end architecture, design systems, and UX/CX pattern knowledge\nExperience defining target-state/transition-state architecture and reconciling roadmaps with delivery constraints\nExperience building unified architecture across distinct business models or go-to-market segments\nTrack record advocating for and adopting emerging CX/experience technology\nStrong executive communication skills\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMaster's degree in technology, HCI, or related field\nSalesforce Architect certification (Application/System Architect)\nAdobe Experience Manager or Analytics certification\nInsurance, Financial Services, or regulated-industry experience\nBroker, agency, or distribution-partner platform experience\nFamiliarity with AI-driven personalization\nExperience in scaled agile environments (SAFe or similar)\nTeammate Benefits & Total Well-Being\nWe go beyond standard benefits, focusing on the total well-being of our teammates, including:\nHealth Benefits: Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance \nFinancial Benefits: ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition Reimbursement \nMental Health & Wellness: Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy Services\nBeyond Benefits: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more. \nNot reflective of all benefits.
