Operating within the Technical IMO integration engine, this role ensures acquired companies are onboarded into enterprise productivity, collaboration, identity, and security platforms in a secure, standardized, and repeatable manner.\nThe M365 Integration Engineer serves as the technical subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 integration activities, supporting pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, post-close migration execution, and platform standardization. The role works closely with Technology Integration Managers, Security Engineering, End User Computing, Identity teams, and enterprise platform owners to deliver scalable integration outcomes while minimizing business disruption.\nHow You Will Contribute:\nMicrosoft 365 Integration Engineering\nDesign and execute Microsoft 365 integration strategies for assigned acquisitions.\nAssess acquired Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, and related environments.\nDevelop migration and onboarding plans aligned with enterprise standards and integration timelines.\nIdentify risks, dependencies, licensing considerations, and technical constraints.\nSupport Day 1 readiness planning and integration execution.\nTenant Integration & Migration Execution\nExecute tenant-to-tenant migration activities.\nSupport mailbox migrations, Teams migrations, SharePoint migrations, and OneDrive migrations.\nConfigure coexistence, cross-tenant access, and migration tooling where required.\nCoordinate migration sequencing, cutover plans, and validation activities.\nEnsure successful transition of users, groups, devices, and collaboration services into enterprise platforms.\nIdentity & Access Integration\nSupport Entra ID integration and identity consolidation initiatives.\nImplement authentication, federation, and directory synchronization solutions as required.\nPartner with Security and Identity teams to align acquisitions with enterprise access standards.\nAssist with integration of conditional access, MFA, identity governance, and security controls.\nValidate user provisioning, licensing, and role assignments throughout integrations.\nCollaboration & Productivity Enablement\nIntegrate Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive services.\nSupport collaboration modernization initiatives for acquired organizations.\nEnsure acquired users are enabled on standard communication and collaboration platforms.\nCoordinate adoption activities with EUC, Service Desk, and operational support teams.\nSupport post-integration stabilization and issue resolution.\nEngineering Standards & Automation\nDevelop and maintain standardized migration approaches, runbooks, and implementation patterns.\nCreate automation solutions using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and other Microsoft platform tooling.\nContribute to continuous improvement of integration playbooks and engineering methodologies.\nReduce manual effort through automation and repeatable deployment patterns.\nEnsure engineering activities align with enterprise governance and security standards.\nTechnical Discovery & Due Diligence Support\nParticipate in technology due diligence activities for prospective acquisitions.\nAssess Microsoft 365 architecture, licensing models, collaboration platforms, and identity configurations.\nIdentify integration complexity, modernization opportunities, and transition risks.\nProvide engineering estimates and migration approaches that support deal planning and execution.\nSkills & Experience to be Successful:\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.\nEquivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.\nExperience\n5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.\nExperience administering Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID.\nExperience with migration and integration projects in enterprise environments.\nExperience supporting mergers and acquisitions, tenant consolidations, or large-scale migrations preferred.\nExperience developing automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell preferred.\nPreferred Certifications\nMicrosoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate\nMicrosoft Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer\nMicrosoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate\nOther Microsoft 365 or cloud platform certifications preferred\nTeammate Benefits & Total Well-Being\nWe go beyond standard benefits, focusing on the total well-being of our teammates, including:\nHealth Benefits: Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance \nFinancial Benefits: ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition Reimbursement \nMental Health & Wellness: Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy Services\nBeyond Benefits: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more. \nNot reflective of all benefits.
