This role serves as a primary liaison between Brokers, Risk Analysts, Billing, Accounting, carriers, and clients, helping coordinate the billing process, resolve issues, and keep account teams informed.\nEssential Duties and Functions:\nReview billing instructions for completeness and accuracy and submit billing requests to the Billing team.\nMaintain accurate information in Smartsheet and ensure items are coded correctly in the system.\nDeliver invoices to clients and track payments received, partnering with the Receivables team to ensure funds are properly applied.\nWork with the Payables team to support timely payments to markets, respond to payment inquiries, request extensions as needed, and keep clients informed of timing and outstanding payments.\nResolve accounting and billing issues during and outside of the renewal process, including invoice discrepancies, missing carrier documentation, unapplied cash, and billing corrections.\nProvide status updates to account teams and handle operational administration in support of the Property practice.\nDevelop and maintain billing procedures and templates.\nFollow up with carriers for binding documentation, including policies.
