These tasks may include providing product/services information, researching payment history, issuing various policy changes, updating policy records, and resolving emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency. Working as a team with other departments and/or offices is critical to being successful in this role.\nHow You Will Contribute:\nAnswer phones, chats, emails, and process tasks to solve agency issues, questions, or concerns. \nCreate new and renewal of insurance invoices. \nObtain, stamp, and organize documentation required by states and/or carriers. \nIssue notices of cancelation and non-renewals in accordance with state-specific guidelines. \nSolve and/or correct agency request discrepancies or processing errors. \nEvaluate documentation and information to determine compliance with regulations or standards. \nHandle confidential information with tact and discretion. \nPartners with other departments, agents, and carriers to resolve issues and address needs. \nFollow Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks performed and provide feedback to Leaders for revisions. \nReflect a positive attitude toward others. \nCross train with peers and other departments. \nLicenses and Certifications:\nGeneral Lines Agent License (preferred). \nSkills & Experience to Be Successful:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent. \nAptitude to learn multiple computer systems. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, Outlook). \nAbility to work independently or in a team environment to achieve common goals. \nKnowledge of data processing capabilities and procedures. \nSchedule flexibility. \nAttention to detail. \nTime management. \nOrganizational skills. \nAbility to demonstrate, understand, and apply department values: communication, accuracy, reliability, and excellence. \nTyping 50+ wpm preferred. \nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal. \nPreferred:\nAssociate degree or higher preferred. \n3+ years of experience in customer service or related field. \nGeneral knowledge of standard insurance concepts, underwriting practices, and procedures preferred. \nAbout Us:\nBridge Specialty Group creates a seamless way to connect the varying needs of our retail partners with the market clout and talents of our wholesale entities.
