Reporting to the Head of IT Architecture, this role will be responsible forworking with the team and evolving the enterprise DevOps platform, cloud automation capabilities, CI/CD standards, and Infrastructure as Code practices across the organization.\nThis position will work closely with the Architecture team, Cloud Engineering teams, application development teams, and enterprise technology partners to enable secure, scalable, and highly automated software delivery. The successful candidate will join the DevOps team, which owns and operatesthe Azure DevOps platform and related cloud engineering functions.\nHow You Will Contribute:\nCloud Platform Engineering & Infrastructure Automation\nDesign, implement, and support Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormation.\n\nAutomate provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments.\n\nDevelop cloud deployment standards and operational runbooks.\n\nCollaborate with cloud engineering teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational effectiveness.\n\nContinuous Integration & Continuous Delivery\nDesign, build, and maintainenterprise CI/CD pipelines supporting application, infrastructure, and integrationdeployments.\n\nAutomate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.\n\nImplement deploymentquality gates, automated validations, and compliance controls.\n\nReduce manual deployment activities through automation and self-service capabilities.\n\nAzure Cloud Engineering\nSupport and optimize enterprise Azure services, including Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.\n\nPartner with application teams to implement cloud-native deployment patterns.\n\nAWS Platform Support\nSupport and maintainworkloads deployed within AWS environments.\n\nWork with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, SNS, and SQS.\n\nAssistwith hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud integration patterns where Azure and AWS services interact.\n\nSupport cloud cost optimization and operational governance initiatives.\n\nDevSecOps& Compliance\nImplement and maintain DevSecOpscontrols within CI/CD pipelines.\n\nIntegrate security scanning, vulnerability assessments, and policy validation into deployment processes.\n\nPartner with security teams to implement secure development lifecycle practices.\n\nSupport audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements applicable to insurance and financial services environments.\n\nPlatform Reliability & Operational Excellence\nImplement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities across cloud platforms.\n\nImprove system reliability through automation, monitoring, and proactive operational practices.\n\nParticipate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support activities.\n\nDevelop and maintain operational documentationand platform standards.\n\nContinuous Learning & Innovation\nStay current on emerging cloud technologies, DevOps methodologies, platform engineering practices, and automation tools.\n\nChampion continuous improvement and modernization initiatives.\n\nContribute to technology communities of practice and knowledge-sharing efforts.\n\nAdditionalresponsibilities consistent with the roleobjectivesmay be added as needed to support the profit center.\n\nSkills & Experience to Be Successful:\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or relatedfield, or equivalent experience.\n\n7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related disciplines.\n\n5+ years of hands-on Azure DevOps administration and implementation experience.\n\nStrong experience designing and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.\n\nStrong expertisewith Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Docker, and Kubernetes.\n\nExperience supporting Azure cloud services and cloud-native applications.\n\nExperience implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks.\n\nStrong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.\n\nExperience working across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.\n\nAbility to independently own the DevOps function, manage transitions, and support multiple delivery teams.\n\nPreferred\nAWS experience supporting production cloud environments.\n\nExperience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.\n\nExperience implementing DevSecOpsprograms and security automation.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise application modernization initiatives.\n\nExperience in the insurance or financial services industry.\n\nAzure and/or AWS certifications.\n\nExperience supporting platform engineering, internal developer platforms, or self-service cloud capabilities.\n\nAbout Us:\nBridge Specialty Group creates a seamless way to connect the varying needs of our retail partners with the market cloutand talents of our wholesale entities.
