This role demands hands-on technical project leadership with a strong foundation in PMI methodologies, project financial management, and cross-functional coordination spanning multiple business verticals. The individual will partner with business leaders, development teams, analysts, and external vendors to deliver complex technology projects on time, within budget, and within scope-while maintaining clear, consistent communication with senior leadership.\nA working background in Employee Benefits is required, with particular value placed on experience supporting pharmacy management operations and medical/provider environments.\nHow You Will Contribute:\nLead the end-to-end delivery of software development platform projects, including architecture decisions, build/buy analysis, integration planning, and production deployment\n\nCoordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the execution of multiple concurrent technical initiatives\n\nEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget\n\nDefine project scope and objectives in collaboration with business stakeholders, development teams, and technical leads, ensuring technical feasibility and strategic alignment\n\nDevelop and manage detailed project budgets, including cost forecasting, spend tracking, variance reporting, and financial escalation when constraints require adjustment\n\nBuild and maintain detailed project plans with milestones, dependencies, resource models, and critical path analysis\n\nManage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using formal change control and verification techniques aligned with PMI standards\n\nDrive cross-functional collaboration across departments, business units, and subject matter domains - including areas outside direct vertical expertise-to ensure integrated delivery outcomes\n\nMeasure and report project performance using appropriate tools, KPIs, and earned value management techniques\n\nPerform risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning; escalate to leadership as needed\n\nEstablish and maintain productive relationships with third-party vendors, including contract performance management and deliverable accountability\n\nLicenses & Certifications:\nCertification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent PMI credential\n\nSkills & Experience to be Successful:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or Associate's degree with equivalent professional experience\n\nMinimum of five (5) years managing technical projects with hands-on experience leading software development platform implementations or modernization efforts\n\nDemonstrated proficiency with PMI project management principles, including formal budgeting, cost management, schedule control, and earned value analysis\n\nProven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple business domains and organizational verticals, including effective coordination outside of primary subject matter expertise\n\nWorking experience in the Employee Benefits industry\n\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile, hybrid, and waterfall methodologies\n\nExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills\n\nAbility to travel as needed to support corporate projects\n\nMinimum of four (4) years of experience supporting pharmacy management, Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM), or medical/provider operations (preferred)\n\nExperience with enterprise data platforms, integration layers, APIs, ETL pipelines, or cloud-based development environments (preferred)\n\nPrevious experience managing vendor-led or outsourced software development engagements (preferred)\n\nFamiliarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and HITECH (preferred)\n\nExperience with portfolio-level project governance and demand management practices (preferred)\n\nExposure to modern development toolchains and AI-assisted development environments (preferred)\n\nPay Range\n$130,000.00 - $180,000.00 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.\nTeammate Benefits & Total Well-Being\nWe go beyond standard benefits, focusing on the total well-being of our teammates, including:\nHealth Benefits: Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance \nFinancial Benefits: ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition Reimbursement \nMental Health & Wellness: Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy Services\nBeyond Benefits: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more. \nNot reflective of all benefits.
