You will collaborate on the design and development of tooling and custom applications, evaluate the suitability of solutions, optimize performance, and promote best practices concerning implementation and operation at scale. \n\nJoin BRP’s dynamic and inclusive Data & Analytics team in Canada, and help build and shape the Data and AI platform at one of the world’s most innovative companies. We are a team that transforms how data is used, insights are uncovered, and decisions are made.\n\nYOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:\nDevelop tooling and applications that enable and support the evolving needs of the data platform and its users.\n\nReduce operational overhead of the platform via automated workflows, CI/CD, and sound source control practices.\n\nPursue and promote platform engineering principals, and ensure that tooling is implemented appropriately and effectively.\n\nWork closely with business, AI/ML and operations teams to identify opportunities for further platform development and refinement.\n\nCollaborate closely with Agile squads to drive iterative development, ensure efficient workflows, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation\n\nContribute to a positive, inclusive, learning-focused team culture\n\nDocument technical processes clearly to ensure easy future maintenance\n\nYOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:\nStrong proficiency in:\nPython (Streamlit, FastAPI)\n\nSQL\n\nSignificant experience with:\nContainerization \n\nOrchestration (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, Argo Workflows)\n\nCI/CD\n\nAPI and Service Development\n\nKnowledge of:\nAzure and GCP\n\nData Engineering\n\nSnowflake\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, in English and French\n\nPassion for continuous learning and openness to new ideas and technologies\n\nA collaborative and supportive working style, with an openness to sharing knowledge\n\nCommitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful team environment\n\nASSETS: \nExperience working with Kubernetes.\n\nExperience working with Terraform.\n\nUnderstanding of Microservice architecture principals.\n\nExperience implementing and/or following DevOps patterns.\n\nFamiliarity with additional programming languages:\nJavascript / Node.js\n\nJava\n\nGo\n\nCertifications in Snowflake, DBT, Azure, or related technologies.\n\nACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY\nBRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
