You will participate in the design, development, and validation of complex embedded software, particularly for our Battery Management System (BMS), a key component of our electric vehicle platforms. You will also be involved in the development of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and vehicle communication solutions, including a CAN gateway designed to meet European cybersecurity requirements. From requirements analysis through integration and production release, you will play a central role in delivering innovative, high-performance, and safe solutions. \nYOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:\n\nContribute to the development of low-level software for various Electronic Control Units (ECUs) using C/C++;\n\nImplement and optimize real-time operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS);\n\nDesign new drivers (e.g., SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.);\n\nPerform unit testing of developed functions;\n\nDevelop functional tests for each product using Python;\n\nAssist with requirements definition and project task planning (Agile methodology);\n\nSupport other teams during testing activities;\n\nContribute to effort estimation for potential future projects.\n\nYOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or equivalent;\n\nThree (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience;\n\nKnowledge of embedded programming in C/C++;\n\nAbility to integrate electrical, electronic and software engineering principles;\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously;\n\nFluency in both French and English, spoken and written;\n\nKnowledge of vehicle communication networks (CAN) and related protocols is considered an asset.\n\n ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY\nBRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
