This role offers the opportunity to work closely with customers, provide expert technical support, and ensure the optimal performance of our analytical instrumentation solutions.\nResponsibilities\nInstall FT-IR, FT-NIR, Raman systems, and related accessories at customer sites, ensuring full functionality in accordance with specifications.\nPerform repair and maintenance activities on products at customer locations.\nTrain customers in the operation of equipment, including software usage and calibration modeling.\nObtain customer acceptance and sign-off for installations and repair activities.\nAct as an effective communication link between the customer and the company, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.\nCarry out preventive and periodic maintenance activities at customer sites in accordance with service contract requirements.\nMaintain regular contact with customers via phone and other communication channels to identify potential service needs and opportunities for additional support.\nAddress and resolve customer inquiries related to products and services.\nMaintain accurate documentation of field service activities, products sold, and services provided.\nSupport the networking of analytical instruments, including the implementation of optional software solutions and integration into existing laboratory information systems.\nQualifications\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline.\nAlternatively, an equivalent level of knowledge and expertise gained through relevant practical experience.\nMinimum of 4-5 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing analytical instruments, scientific instruments, electromechanical equipment, and/or electronic systems.\nStrong technical expertise in analytical instrumentation.\nExcellent customer focus, with the ability to respond effectively to inquiries and build positive customer relationships.\nStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and understandable manner.\nExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.\nStrong networking, collaboration, and teamwork skills.\nExperience with FT-IR spectroscopy, NIR, Raman technology, Remote Sensing, Microscopy, and laboratory environments is considered an advantage.\nGood command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken, is required.\nWillingness to travel approximately 80% of the
