They are built with the customer in minds and can be deployed in the harshest environments.\nFor defence applications our solutions are typically integrated into vehicles, ships, or submarines and for Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) used for such applications as screening of passengers and cargo at airports for narcotics and explosives or to protect the life support system in important buildings from toxic chemicals.\nThe Technical Sales Manager Explosives Trace Detection ETD (m/f/d) has the responsibility to sell, market and manage projects in specific market areas for our solutions. The individual is also responsible to manage allocated agents, distributors, key customers, and partners, maintaining contact with local stakeholders and providing market intelligence to the business.\nAlthough we are based in Germany-Leipzig, the position can be Remote or Hybrid through one of our many offices in Europe or the Middle East.\nResponsibilities\nPrimary Objectives:\nMeet set sales objectives\nUnderstand customer’s organisational structures to define and meet product requirements\nSet up and maintain details of all sales opportunities to produce and review capture plans for each opportunity\nManage developed or allocated Sales Projects\nProduce, maintain, and communicate short term order forecasts and long-term business predications for each project/customer/territory. Continually monitor progress of orders from initial enquiry to installation ensuring all timelines and conditions are met\nAdditional Duties:\nEnsure the highest standard of customer support\nObserve and feedback information on competitors’ products and services\nPlan, organise and execute customer presentations, demonstrations, and equipment training\nOrganise and take part in conferences and exhibitions\nSupport the project management team for combined projects\nQualifications\nExperience and Qualifications:\nProven track record in sales preferentially in the defence or safety & security markets\nMust be a natural team player, willing and able to build confidence and establish co-operative relationships with personnel throughout the company\nAbility to operate alone in a variety of national and international markets, (readiness to reach for assistance and specialist advice when situations demand)\nCompetent oral and written English is required\nCompetent MS Office systems
