Responsibilities

Please note this is a temp role offered by Bruker. If hired into role, you will be employed with a 3rd party service provider to Bruker. Position is based out of our Tucson, AZ offices and requires onsite presence.

New Buyer/ Planner Specialist opportunity with the Bruker BioSpin SII Team based in Tucson, AZ on a temporary part time project basis: approximately 32 hours per week.

The Buyer/ Planner Specialist is responsible. for maintaining appropriate levels of inventory and ensuring their accuracy on the manufacturing floor. This position supports organizational objectives through managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

• Translate instrument build plan into separate purchase orders and then oversee and manage their processing
• Create Sales Orders to ensure rapid fulfillment of Service and Sales requests
• Create weekly cycle-count lists, for the manufacturing team to count and document each week
• Participate in the implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s)
• Communicate revision changes to suppliers
• Coordinate receipts of first-article inspections (FAI’s)
• Create and close job orders for the manufacturing floor team
• Process return authorizations (RMA’s) through the non-conformance report (NCR) process
• Communicate to suppliers regarding their non-conformances
• Transact items in and out of Receiving Inspection
• Maintain Supply Chain key performance indicators (KPI’s)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business or related discipline
• Minimum 8-10 years work experience as a Buyer/ Planner.
• Made2Manage or QAD work experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced oral, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills, including advanced MS Office Suite, fluent oral and written English language proficiency.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse global team work environment
• Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism
• Ability to satisfactorily complete position training and compliance requirements
• Ability to maintain current knowledge of company tools, products, and applications
• Reliable transportation and valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
• May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
