Position is based out of our Tucson, AZ offices and requires onsite presence.\nNew Buyer/ Planner Specialist opportunity with the Bruker BioSpin SII Team based in Tucson, AZ on a temporary part time project basis: approximately 32 hours per week.\nThe Buyer/ Planner Specialist is responsible. for maintaining appropriate levels of inventory and ensuring their accuracy on the manufacturing floor. This position supports organizational objectives through managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to operational excellence.\nTranslate instrument build plan into separate purchase orders and then oversee and manage their processing\nCreate Sales Orders to ensure rapid fulfillment of Service and Sales requests\nCreate weekly cycle-count lists, for the manufacturing team to count and document each week\nParticipate in the implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s)\nCommunicate revision changes to suppliers\nCoordinate receipts of first-article inspections (FAI’s)\nCreate and close job orders for the manufacturing floor team\nProcess return authorizations (RMA’s) through the non-conformance report (NCR) process\nCommunicate to suppliers regarding their non-conformances\nTransact items in and out of Receiving Inspection\nMaintain Supply Chain key performance indicators (KPI’s)\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor Degree in Business or related discipline\nMinimum 8-10 years work experience as a Buyer/ Planner. \nMade2Manage or QAD work experience strongly preferred.\nAdvanced oral, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills, including advanced MS Office Suite, fluent oral and written English language proficiency.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse global team work environment\nOperates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism\nAbility to satisfactorily complete position training and compliance requirements\nAbility to maintain current knowledge of company tools, products, and applications\nReliable transportation and valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.\nU.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.\nMay be required to pass security clearance investigation.\nBruker is an equal opportunity employer.
