This role is ideal for a professional with a solid commercial or technical sales experience in the diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or industrial microbiology sectors. The LATAM Field Microbiology Sales Coordinator will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving lead qualification, and supporting regional market expansion strategies.\n***Please submit your resume in English to be considered*** \nResponsibilities\nExecute territory strategies to identify, prospect, and capture new business opportunities across clinical, food, pharma, and academic markets. \nActively conduct customer visits (on-site and virtual) to build relationships, identify needs, and generate new sales opportunities.\nCollaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers and Sales Specialists to drive qualified leads through the sales funnel.\nLead early-stage commercial discussions, organize technical presentations, and coordinate product evaluations.\nManage and maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring timely follow-up and opportunity progression.\nSupport strategic marketing activities including local events, webinars, and customer engagement campaigns\nSupport TPAs in the assigned territory to increase sales of instruments in Clinical, Food & Beverage, Agriculture, Pharma, and Research Markets.\nAdhere to company policies for expense control and meeting expense budgets.\nQualifications\nSolid understanding of microbiology workflows and technologies; familiarity with MALDI-TOF is a plus.\nFamiliarity with hospital labs, private diagnostics providers, or food/pharma quality labs in Latin America.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in a commercial, technical sales, or customer-facing role within the diagnostics or life sciences industry.\nProven ability to promote company products and services to a variety of prospects and customers and secure sales commitments.\nStrong verbal, written, and technical presentation skills, including MS Office with advanced Excel applications proficiency. \nExperience with CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce).\nMust be self-motivated and willing to take ownership of projects assigned by the management team.\nWillingness to travel extensively (up to 70%); maintain a current Passport/ US VISA as required for international travel. Occasional weekend travel will be required. Plan and execute individual travel guidelines and within expense budget objectives.\nProficient in English and Spanish language. \nEducation and/or Experience: \nBachelor’s degree in a related life sciences field or Health-related fields.
