In addition, the division manufacturers and markets automated X-ray metrology, automated AFM defect-detection and photomask repair and cleaning equipment for semiconductor process control.\nWe are seeking Service Engineers based in Tainan and travel around Taiwan to different customers' sites when required.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Field Service Engineer, you are required to work on rotating shifts (including weekends and public holidays). Your summary of responsibilities & duties include but not limited to:\nOn-site diagnose and resolve technical problems\nPerforms preventative maintenance.\nProvides technical assistance to Installation Engineer onsite as needed\nEscalate field issues to Technical Support Team and follow up on solutions to address and fix issues in a timely manner.\n60% of the essential functions are:\nWorking directly at customers' site to diagnose BNSM instruments and service issues by:\nDiagnosing, research, experiment, test, develop, optimize, communicate and execute the most efficient solution plan for complex electro-mechanical hardware or software instrument issues and user issues.\nMaximizing instrument and/or accessory capability and performance to meet specification and/or customer application requirement.\nCreating and maintaining service record or daily report of activity in database.\nEscalating the issue on time and follow up on solutions to address and fix issues in a timely manner.\nProviding basic application support to enhance time-to-solution.\nProviding user training and guidance to end-users.\nThe other 40% of the essential work are\nInstallation and qualify BNSM instrument, upgrade, and/or accessories.\nAny other duties assigned.\n*** Priority will be given to candidates with their own cars, please state in the cover letter of your application form.\nQualifications\nTo be successful for this position, you will:\nBe able to work in cleanroom, production floor, & laboratory environments.\nPossess the following Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Customer focused. Passionate about science and technology & enabling customers with Bruker technology. \nDemonstrated excellent analytical capability, theoretical understanding of physics, working knowledge of electronics, mechanics, control systems, computers, networking, and common tooling such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, etc… to be an effective problem solver of complex system, product user, and/or application issues. \nDemonstrated ability to install, qualify and be a trainer and technical resource that effectively empowers our customers and internal team for complex electro-mechanical instrumentation and application modules. \nDemonstrated ability to provide clear, logical, and effective communication. \nAble to develop, communicate, implement, and execute assigned project including achieving required deliverables on time.\n\nPosses the following Education & Experience requirements:InSight WLI related knowledge is Plus. \nBS degree in scientific or engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-optical, Controlling Engineering) from accredited university or college with 5 - 8 years relevant experience. \nMasters degree in scientific or engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-optical, Controlling Engineering) with 3 - 5 years relevant experience.\nEnglish proficiency: high intermediate, competent of communication in oral and written with TOEIC score ~ 600 or equivalent test score available.\n\nBruker is an equal-opportunity employer.
