Assembly tasks performed may include gunking, glassing, assembling, fitting and installing.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsible for installing Electrical Bilge, Deck, Dash, Finish, cabinets, floors, cockpits, benches, and any other installation tasks as assigned.\n\nInstall the front of the line interior work with emphasis on the final finish elements and cosmetic aspects of the boat.\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nJOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh School diploma or GED\n\n2- 3 years of boat building experience preferred\n\nFitting / Installing experience\n\nWorking knowledge of hand tools\n\nAbility to lift heavy objects\n\nAbility to Multi-Task\n\nAbility to read and understand prints and production schedules\n\nAbility to work with suspended loads and heavy lifting\n\nAdditional Requirements:\nEffective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nMust be able to adapt to changing requirements in a positive and proactive way.\n\nAbility to interact professionally and effectively with all levels within the organization.\n\nAbility to work in a dusty and hot environment.\n\nKnowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal.\n\nMust be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.\n\nSafety Requirements:\nMust possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediately\n\nMust understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies\n\nMust be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.\n\nMust be able to understand and complete the OSHA questionnaire, pass spirometer test and physically wear a respirator where required\n\nMust be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, spending working hours on your feet, etc.\n\nMust be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment.\n\nThe anticipated pay range for this position is $20.60 to $25.05, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.\nAt Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
