This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.\nPosition Overview:\nWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Category Manager Intern to join our dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in category management. This position is based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.\nAs a Category Manager Intern, you will support the Category Management team in optimizing product assortments, analyzing market trends, and developing strategies to drive growth within specific product categories. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, gain valuable industry insights, and contribute to strategic initiatives.\nAt Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.\nEssential Functions:\nMarket Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Assist in analyzing market data to inform category strategies.\nData Management: Collect, organize, and analyze sales data, inventory levels, and product performance metrics. Assist in generating reports and presentations for the Category Management team.\nCategory Strategy Support: Assist in the development and implementation of category strategies to optimize product assortments and maximize profitability.\nProject Assistance: Participate in special projects related to category management, including new product launches, and promotional activities.\nInternship project to include:\nOperate in a global teaming model\nSupporting current products and launching new products in a diverse product portfolio\nActively participate in optimizing pricing and channel strategy by region to compete globally\nDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.\nSkills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.\nExperience: Previous internship or relevant experience in retail, marketing, or supply chain management is a plus but not required.\nAttributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn. A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for category management.\nCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States immediately, without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nThe ability to coordinate numerous projects in a professional and ethical manner\nPrevious experience in manufacturing setting preferred\nWorking knowledge of appropriate engineering principles.\nMust be a self-starter capable of working both independently, as well as part of a team\nMust be willing to work more than 40 hours per week periodically to complete the job\nWorking Conditions:\n· Learning Opportunities: Our Student Program is designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional setting. We value the importance for interns to understand their progress and areas for improvement.\nThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00 per hour.
