As Delivery Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and professional boat deliveries, from preparing and staging boats to delivering them on-site and off-site. If you're passionate about boating, hands-on work, and customer satisfaction, this role is for you.\nWorking closely with the Sales team, you’ll support day-to-day operations and ensure customers have the knowledge and confidence to enjoy their new boat. Your responsibilities will include everything from unloading boats and maintaining showroom-ready inventory to conducting product demonstrations, providing customer training, and performing minor installations. With a proactive mindset and a focus on customer service, you’ll help create memorable experiences that drive customer satisfaction.\nAs a Delivery Coordinator, you’ll also have the opportunity to engage in boat sales when needed, utilizing your product knowledge to assist customers and support the sales process-further developing your communication and sales skills.\nAt Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.\nEssential Functions:\nDeliver sold boats to customers (on-site and off-site), conducting thorough customer training on boat features, motors, trailers, and accessories. You’ll provide guidance on service schedules, safe boating practices, and answer customer inquiries.\nUnload new boats, conduct check-in processes, and carefully inspect for warranty or shipping damage.\nInstall minor components such as windshields, batteries, Bimini tops, seat cushions, fish finders, and other minor mechanical installations.\nTransfer boat inventory between store locations and ensure all displayed inventory is clean, organized, and ready for customer viewings.\nAssist the sales team by engaging with customers in the showroom and at events, demonstrating in-depth product knowledge and upselling aftermarket accessories.\nAs opportunities arise, engage directly with customers to help close boat sales by using your product expertise to assist in the sales process. While not your primary focus, you’ll support the sales team in meeting customer needs and achieving dealership goals.\nAnswer phones, respond to emails, greet customers, and maintain a professional sales environment through daily housekeeping and organization.\nUse our CRM system to manage customer interactions, boat inventory, etc.\nStay up to date on our boat brands and industry trends through manufacturer-provided training materials, and confidently demonstrate boat features to customers.\nAssist with floorplan audits and monthly checks for both new and used boats.\nRepresent the dealership at special events, boat shows, and off-site locations, helping to plan, set up, and execute event activities.\nAny additional duties assigned for success.\nDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nFamiliarity with boats, boating safety, and basic mechanics.\nSome exposure to towing or trailering boats, or a willingness to learn\nAbility to perform physical tasks and minor installations.\nStrong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and basic math/problem-solving.\nTeam-oriented, adaptable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.\nValid driver's license with a clean MVR, background check, and drug screening.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience operating tractors, forklifts, or other heavy equipment.\nSales experience or a strong interest in sales.\nFamiliarity with CRM systems and/or basic administrative tasks.\nUnderstanding of boat mechanics, electronics, and maintenance.\nTravel Requirements:\nThis position may involve occasional travel across the Southeast to deliver boats using a company vehicle.\nWorking Conditions:\nPerforms work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.\nMoves up to 50 pounds and performs tasks requiring physical exertion.\nTransports boats and maneuvers them in, on, and out of the water.\nTraverse docks and uneven terrain.\nOperates boats, motorized vehicles, tractors, small handheld power tools, and other equipment.\nUses computers and other office equipment.\nThe anticipated pay for this position is $12.00-$13.00, hourly. In addition to your base pay, you will earn commissions on boat deliveries as well as protective product applications.\nThe actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
