This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.\nInnovation is the heart of Brunswick.See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:\nPosition Overview:\nThe EHS & Quality Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting product compliance, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and quality initiatives across the facility. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure products and facility operations meet regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nAt Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.\nEssential Functions:\nProduct Compliance & Quality\nManage product compliance and certification activities for new and existing products.\nLead product audit programs, including planning, execution, reporting, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts.\nMonitor, investigate, and resolve compliance and quality nonconformities, escalating critical issues as needed.\nSupport new product development, inspections, testing, and validation activities.\nMaintain compliance documentation, certification records, and audit schedules.\nCoordinate with regulatory agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are met.\nAnalyze audit results, warranty trends, customer feedback, and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.\nSupport quality investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).\n\nEnvironmental, Health & Safety (EH&S)\nSupport and maintain facility safety and environmental compliance programs.\nConduct safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-up.\nCoordinate employee safety training, orientation programs, and safety committee activities.\nMaintain regulatory programs related to hazard communication, SDS management, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), waste management, and environmental compliance.\nMonitor safety and environmental performance metrics and recommend improvements.\nReview equipment, processes, and materials to ensure EH&S compliance and employee safety.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen workplace safety and environmental stewardship.\nRequired Qualifications: \nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.\nTwo or more years of experience in manufacturing, quality, compliance, EH&S, or a related role within a regulated environment.\nKnowledge of OSHA, EPA, quality systems, auditing, and regulatory compliance principles.\nStrong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the marine industry or another regulated manufacturing environment.\nFamiliarity with standards and organizations such as ABYC, NMMA, USCG, EPA, CARB, ISO/CE, or similar regulatory frameworks.\nOSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, Lean Six Sigma, or related certifications.\nExperience with quality management systems, compliance tracking tools, audit software, or CAD software.\nExperience supporting both product compliance and EH&S programs.\nMarine industry experience and familiarity with ABYC, NMMA, and related standards are preferred but not required. Candidates with experience in other regulated manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.\nWorking Conditions\nWork is performed in both office and manufacturing environments.\nRegular facility inspections, audits, and product evaluations are required.\nMay be exposed to dust, fumes, chemicals, noise, and outdoor conditions.\nOccasional travel (up to 10%) and additional hours may be required to support business needs.\nThe hiring range for this position is $43,200-$59,900 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
