Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you will apply your academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges in areas such as firmware development and power electronics.\nDepending on your background, interests, and career goals, you will have the opportunity to contribute to one of several exciting engineering projects while being mentored by industry professionals.\nThe primary purpose of this internship is educational. The student will work under the supervision of an assigned engineering mentor to gain practical experience in software/firmware development, energy systems, or power electronics. Activities will be structured around defined learning objectives and project-based deliverables that support the student's academic development and, where applicable, thesis requirements.\nAt Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.\nEssential Functions:\nInnovative project with cutting edge technology.\nPerform research and evaluate new technologies to improve product performance and reliability.\nDocument designs, specifications, and test results.\nWrite, test and refactor code in languages such as C/C++, or Python for embedded processors.\nDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.\nRequired Qualifications:\nStudents currently pursuing a HAVO / Bachelor’s or Master degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering (ICT) or a related field.\nBasic knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with source control system (like Git)\nBasic knowledge in embedded systems (device design and optimization techniques) \nFamiliar with development methodologies\nWorking Conditions:\nMostly office environment and in engineering labs.\nMay be required to perform field tests.\nThis exciting position offers a monthly base salary of 800 EUR. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, and location.
