This position has a lot of leadership and communication between operators, other trainers, and other departments.\nAt Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.\nEssential Functions:\nResponsibilities as defined for General Assembly Operator\nTrain newly hired, temporary, and crosstraining employees, in proper manufacturing techniques as detailed in DWIs.\nUnderstand and train employees of floor layout (5S).\nBe knowledgeable, practice and re-inforce safety rules and guidelines.\nBe capable of properly recording labor and explaining how to understand production rates.\nWork with Operators and Production Pickers to ensure cells are fully stocked with parts to complete production orders\nBe able to perform set up functions in all product families, including 1st piece where required\nAssist Operators who are having problems and call in outside help where needed\nHave an understanding of ISO requirements and our Quality Management System\nHave an understanding and communicate company metrics.\nDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.\nRequired Qualifications:\nMeet qualifications for General Assembly Operator\nBe knowledgeable and proficient in all product families within respective department.\nDependable - have a good attendance record\nGood interpersonal skills\nDemonstrated ability to work in a team environment and lead others\nWorking Conditions:\nStanding up to 8 hours per day\nConstantly walking from cell to cell\nOccasionally lifting not up to 50 lbs\nThe anticipated pay range for this position is $23.40, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.\nAt Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
