These specialists partner with global colleagues to bring a powerful and complementary combination of perspectives across stakeholders to help clients manage their reputations during critical financial events.\nWe are seeking an Associate to join the Financial practice who will specialize in advising Brunswick's leading corporate clients in integrating deep knowledge of investors into their strategic communications and decision making.\nAbout the Role \nClient Contribution & Handling\nDeveloping investor relations and financial communications engagement programs\nAdvising clients across industries on effectively communicating to investors at critical moments such as financial transactions and leadership transitions\nSupport management teams on financial calendar milestones such as earnings, conferences, and investor days\nAnalyzing complex financial information and developing strategic messaging to support valuation and help manage volatility\nDevelop plans to disseminate messaging across traditional and emerging communications channels to target members of the investor community\nTeam Management\nManaging and mentoring team members; working with Partners and Directors on the day-to-day management of staff and client deliverables\nActively and effectively managing account teams and driving day-to-day activities for multiple clients at a time\nManaging the development of key client documents, supporting drafting, editing and integrating feedback from across internal and client stakeholders.\nOverseeing research assignments on fast-moving situations with tight deadlines; distilling a large amount of information into impactful insight and recommendations.\nNetworking\nPlaying an entrepreneurial role in supporting Brunswick’s Financial practice and strategic investor relations capability including thought leadership and new business development\nActively cultivating relationships with clients and potential clients\nDeveloping relationships with the analyst and investor community \nWhat We're Looking For\n7-10+ years of relevant work experience in one or more of the following areas: investment banking, sell-side equity research, buy-side active asset management, in-house public company investor relations, investor relations advisory\nDeep knowledge of the corporate finance, capital markets and U.S. public company investment landscape\nAbility to anticipate and analyze market expectations, translate the investor perspective into effective communications to multiple stakeholders (shareholders, analysts, ratings agencies and financial media)\nAbility to rapidly learn new sectors and companies, and operate with imperfect information\nAbility to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment\nEnergetic team player with strong self-motivation\nOperates with discretion and maintains confidentiality at all times\nExceptional written and verbal communication, particularly when dealing with complex matters\nExperience managing teams and passionate about mentoring junior staff\nMBA degree or CFA certification preferable but not required\nWhy Join Us \nWhether you are joining a client facing team, a core services team, or starting out on your professional career journey, joining Brunswick unlocks a range of exceptional employee benefits to support your financial future, health and wellness, family and community and continuous professional development. \nThe successful applicant will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits package: \nBase Pay: The annual base compensation range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000. The base pay offered will be determined by factors including experience, skills, training, office location, certifications, and education. \nBonus Eligibility: Annual discretionary bonus contingent upon individual and firm-wide performance. \nBenefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
