This role ensures smooth and efficient HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll preparation and general compliance. The HR Assistant also contributes to wider People Team initiatives and supports the Senior People Team through the annual R&P process to ensure alignment between people strategy and organizational goals.\nThis is a full-time permanent reporting to the HR Manager.\nAbout the Role\nYour main responsibilities will include:\nRecruitment & Onboarding\nSupport the recruitment process, including preparing offer and contract paperwork, coordinating background checks, and conducting pre-boarding calls.\nLiaise with hiring managers to organize new joiner inductions and ensure all onboarding materials are ready.\nWork closely with ICT to arrange system access and equipment for new starters.\nOrganise and facilitate onboarding sessions and ensure a smooth transition for all new hires.\nOne-month check-ins (stay interviews) with new joiners (Associate level and below)\n\nEmployee Records & Administration\nMaintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR systems.\nKeep the HR team and wider business updated on joiners, leavers, and absences.\nPrepare HR reports and assist with audits, compliance checks, and data accuracy.\nLeaver Process\nLiaise with mentors and managers to manage the leaver process from start to finish.\nStay in regular contact with leavers throughout their notice period, ensuring they understand next steps and all requirements are completed.\nPrepare and send leaver paperwork, update trackers and systems, and coordinate with ICT and support teams to ensure all actions are completed.\nSchedule and conduct exit meetings (ADs and below), arrange equipment collection, and ensure system updates are completed.\nCoordinate with ICT and other support teams to ensure all leaver-related actions are completed promptly.\nBenefits & Payroll Support\nSupport employee benefits administration, including enrolment and responding to related queries.\nLiaise with benefits providers to help resolve employee issues and maintain up-to-date records.\nAssist in monthly payroll by collecting and verifying information to ensure accurate processing ready payroll cut off.\nHR Operations, Projects & Compliance\nSupport implementation of HR policies and ensure compliance with workforce laws and internal procedures.\nAssist in organising employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing programs, and HR communications.\nContribute to HR and People Team projects, including process improvements, data reporting, and system updates.\nProvide logistical and administrative support to the People Team on cross-functional projects such as wellbeing programs, diversity initiatives, and performance development activities.\nSupport the review and improvement of HR policies and Regional Handbooks, balancing best practice with practical application and with current local legislation.\nManaging the People Pages on The Hub - identifying and suggesting relevant content to share.\nAnnual Review Process Support\nPartner with senior HR team members to prepare for and coordinate the Annual Review process.\nGather and maintain accurate data for performance reviews, promotions, and workforce planning.\nSupport communication, scheduling, and documentation for Remuneration & Promotion (R&P) meetings.\nTrack and follow up on review outcomes to ensure consistency and timely completion.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe’re seeking someone who brings:\nAt least 12 months experience in a HR Administration or Recruitment Administration role, ideally within a professional or corporate environment.\nProven experience in payroll and onboarding\nUnderstanding of the employee lifecycle\nStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.\nConfident use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).\nClear written and verbal communication skills.\nA proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach, with strong problem-solving skills.\nA positive team player who can also work independently.\nProfessionalism, discretion, and enthusiasm to learn and grow.\nExperience with SAGE and performance leader is highly desirable\nCIPD qualification is desirable\nWhy Join Us\nWhether you are joining a client facing team, a core services team, or starting out on your professional career journey, joining Brunswick unlocks a range of employee benefits to support your financial future, health and wellness, family and community and continuous professional development.\nAbout Brunswick\nBrunswick is a global advisory firm.
