The primary responsibilities of this position will be to handle all the plywood for the mill and supplying all items like rolls of vinyl and parts for the upholstery department. Must be comfortable operating and maneuvering a forklift. This position will pick materials accurately and present them in an optimal way to the Manufacturing team, which will require a solid understanding of warehouse transaction processes, cycle count procedures, and rotation of stock. This position requires the operation of several different types of machinery as outlined below.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nProvides excellent customer service to the Manufacturing team and other internal stakeholders.\nDemonstrates ability to work effectively in a team environment with a positive attitude.\nDemonstrate personal accountability for the value of Sea Ray’s inventory.\nLocates and stocks material.\nDetermines methods of storage, identification, and stock location considering temperature, humidity, size, and weight of material.\nPerforms daily cycle counts and monthly reconciliation.\nPulls and kits material per assigned pick list.\nLoads, unloads, or transports material to appropriate location and/or internal personnel.\nSeparates and identifies obvious defective material.\nInputs material handling data into MRP system.\nOperates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.\nLift and move a maximum of 50 pounds, depending on the individual.\nMaintains and recommends enhancements to layout of Warehouse\nAdherence to all safety and housekeeping guidelines.\nWork with buyer and supplier on timely RMAs\nProcess all ICT timely and efficiently\nOther duties as assigned.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nMust possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times and report all hazards to his or her supervisor immediately.\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.\nWarehousing experience preferred.\nProvide excellent customer service to various internal stakeholders.\nEffective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.\nMust be able to adapt to changing requirements in a positive and proactive way.\nAbility to interact professionally and effectively with all levels within the organization.\nMust be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.\nAbility to read and comprehend in English, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. \nAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one ad small group situations to team members of the organization.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nAbility to apply common sense reasoning to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. \nAbility to deal with problems involving limited variables in standard situations in a professional fashion.\nAbility to correctly use pallet jack, forklift, calculator, and computer.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: work in varies weather conditions; stand for long periods of time; repetitively walk short distances; use hands to feel, finger, or handle tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; climb steps or stools; stoop, kneel, or crouch; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; use close vision and distance vision.\nThe anticipated pay range for this position is $19.65 - $25.55, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.\nAt Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
