See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:\nGrade: 3\nPosition Overview\nThe Lamination Technician performs a wide variety of fiberglass lamination tasks in the Resin Transfer Molding department. Tasks performed include mold preparation for gel coaters, removing fiberglass from mold, and transporting finished parts into hole cut booth. This position will be required to lift heavy objects multiple times a day and may also include gel coating, bracing, and various PI tasks.\nAt Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.\nEssential Functions:\nMaintains and adjusts resin mixers and pumps.\nReads production schedule and ensures parts are being completed and moved on to the next station in a timely manner.\nMust follow all safety standards and procedures, including chemical handling standards and Personal Protective Equipment\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements include wearing respirators, gloves, chemical resistance aprons, and chemical resistant suits\nAbility to use hand, battery, and pneumatic tools\nDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent\nA minimum of 1 year of related boating building experience preferred\n3 years fiberglass lamination experience preferred\nAbility to read and understand blueprints\nAbility to read a tape measure\nAbility to read and understand a production schedule\nRequires ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, powered and manual\nAbility to work in a hot and dusty environment, using protective clothing and respirator\nAbility to pass a respirator fit test\nWorking Conditions:\nMay be required to work in a non-air-conditioned area.\nThe job requires lifting up to 50 lbs. independently and over 50 lbs. with team assistance, following proper safety protocols.\nAbility to work in a fast paced, noisy environment.\nThe pay range for this position is $20.90 - $23.65 , hourly.
