See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:\nPosition Overview:\nAs part of the talented Lowe Boats team as an Assembler, you will assemble aluminum boats and / or sub-assemblies, partially or completely, working at bench, or in a boat, or on shop floor.\nAt Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.\nEssential Functions:\nPosition parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.\n\nFastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners. Using jigs, and gluing.\n\nRemoves small quantities of metal with hand files and shears to produce close fit between parts.\n\nOperates drill presses, punch presses, air tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.\n\nInstalls seats, bases, pedestals, consoles, cables, controls, graphics, etc.\n\nResponsible for following the quality systems procedures.\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.\nRequired Qualifications:\nSelf starter, team player with a good safety awareness\n\nRequires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or GED preferred\n\nPrevious experience in boat assembly preferred\n\nWorking Conditions:\nMay be required to work in a non-air conditioned area\n\nRegularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs\n\nExposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors on a daily basis.\n\nPPE required: Hearing protection, vision protection, safety toe shoes, safety gloves\n\nWhy Brunswick:\nInnovation is the heart of Brunswick. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for 2% annual productivity bonus.\nAt Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
