See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:\nPosition Overview:\nThe Vice President of Global Procurement leads Mercury Marine’s global procurement, supplier quality, and logistics organizations, overseeing approximately $2 billion in annual direct, indirect, and logistics spend. The role sets the strategy and operating agenda for sourcing, supplier performance, supply continuity, logistics, and risk management to deliver cost leadership, quality excellence, and operational resilience. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.\nEssential Functions:\nStrategic Sourcing\nLead global category and sourcing strategies across direct materials, indirect spend, and logistics to optimize cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and risk. \nOwn supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contracting, and total cost management. \nDeliver cost reduction, cost avoidance, and product cost objectives in partnership with Finance, Engineering, and Operations. \nBuild strategic supplier relationships and develop a competitive, capable, and resilient global supply base. \nEstablish supplier qualification, governance, performance expectations, and responsible sourcing standards. \nProcurement Operations\nLead global procurement execution and standardize processes, policies, metrics, and best practices. \nBalance material availability, inventory, working capital, cost, and customer service requirements. \nLead cross-functional mitigation and resolution of shortages, supplier disruptions, and other continuity risks. \nUse data, analytics, and technology to improve visibility, decision-making, compliance, and productivity. \nLogistics\nSet the strategy for transportation and logistics operations, including carrier and logistics-provider performance. \nOptimize freight cost, service, capacity, and network performance while supporting reliable material flow to Mercury operations. \nStrengthen logistics visibility, risk management, and contingency planning to protect supply continuity. \nPartner with Operations, Planning, Trade Compliance, and suppliers to improve delivery performance and resolve critical disruptions.\nNew Product Development and Lifecycle Management\nIntegrate procurement and supplier quality early in product development to ensure sourcing and supply readiness. \nPartner with Engineering, Product Management, and Program Management to deliver supplier capacity, quality, cost, and timing requirements. \nIdentify and mitigate supplier risks to support successful validation builds and product launches. \nLead end-of-life sourcing actions to minimize excess inventory and supplier liabilities. \nSupplier Quality\nLead the global supplier quality strategy and ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, and performance expectations. \nDrive advanced product quality planning, supplier development, and continuous improvement across the supply base. \nEstablish common supplier metrics and scorecards, and lead resolution of significant supplier quality issues. \nEnterprise and Team Leadership\nEstablish global priorities, operating rhythms, KPIs, and accountability across procurement, supplier quality, and logistics. \nBuild a high-performing organization through talent development, succession planning, and leadership coaching. \nFoster a culture of ownership, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. \nPartner across Operations, Engineering, Finance, Commercial, Customer Service, and Brunswick enterprise teams to deliver business results. \nDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.\n15+ years of progressive leadership experience across global procurement and supply chain in a complex manufacturing environment. \nProven experience leading global teams and managing complex, multi-tier supplier networks. \nDeep expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier quality, logistics, and supply chain risk management. \nDemonstrated success delivering cost, quality, service, working capital, supply continuity, and supplier development results. \nStrong commercial acumen, including executive-level negotiation, contracting, and total cost of ownership. \nExperience supporting new product development and product launches in a manufacturing environment. \nProven ability to lead transformation, standardization, and technology-enabled process improvement. \nStrong executive presence and the ability to influence, align, and communicate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. \nTrack record of building high-performing teams, developing leaders, and delivering measurable business results. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nMBA\nThe hiring range for this position is $202,200 to $296,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.\nIn addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an award target as part of Brunswick’s long-term incentive program.
