See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:\nPosition Overview:\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Administrative Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Norfolk, VA. This role combines traditional administrative duties with safety coordination, inventory management, and customer service responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.\nAt Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.\nEssential Functions:\nCreate and maintain various workplace communications and visual materials\nCoordinate with outside contractors and manage visitor protocols\nProcess inventory adjustments and create customer orders for prop repairs\nMaintain organized filing systems and manage record retention schedules\nCreate new hire packets\nInventory Management & Quality Control\nOversee Coast Guard kit inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and coordinating with management on supply needs\nManage cycle count processes, including scheduling, variance analysis, and discrepancy resolution\nProcess shipping discrepancy reports (OS&D) and coordinate appropriate resolutions\nUtilize critical thinking skills to evaluate claims and make informed decisions\nMaintain accurate data reports and ensure timely updates\nSafety Program Management\nCoordinate and conduct safety training programs, including hazardous materials training\nManage safety documentation and maintain training matrices\nPlan and execute safety initiatives and events\nProcess incident reports and conduct investigations\nOversee contractor safety program compliance\nCoordinate with vendors for safety equipment maintenance\nConduct regular safety inspections and maintain detailed records\nDriver Program Support\nProcess and maintain driver documentation including manifests and fuel receipts\nReconcile fuel transactions and report discrepancies\nEnsure proper distribution of safety documentation to drivers\nTechnical Requirements\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word\nExperience with AS400 systems preferred\nAbility to assist employees with various software platforms including Workday\nStrong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new systems\nCustomer Service\nProvide backup support for will-call operations\nMaintain professional communication with customers, sales team, and internal stakeholders\nProcess customer requests and inquiries efficiently\nDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation and Experience\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nExcellent attention to detail\nOutstanding written and verbal communication abilities\nAbility to work independently and demonstrate initiative\nHigh degree of integrity and commitment to confidentiality\nProblem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure\nProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nThis position operates in a warehouse setting and requires occasional physical activity including walking throughout the facility, handling documents, and operating office equipment. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain current knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse operations best practices.\nWorking Conditions:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, balance and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp and move a variety of materials. Walkways are concrete and/or metal grating. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently. Employee may be exposed to high, precarious places. The warehouse environment can be hot (or cold) and dusty.\nThe anticipated starting pay range for this position is $25.00 The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.\nAt Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
