This position must be well versed in problem solving, needs and learner analysis, management and execution of curriculum and programmatic projects, effective evaluation and feedback methods, and adult learning theory.\nThe Experiential Learning Designer will actively participate in this vision through ensuring that Bryan University’s graduates are prepared with the relevant knowledge and practical, productive skills through designing advanced curriculum which leads directly to high-demand professional careers.\nResponsibilities of the Experiential Learning Designer:\nDesign and develop engaging online learning products aligned with Bryan University's Learning Model, program requirements, and applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements. \nApply evidence-based instructional design, learning, and cognitive science principles to ensure alignment among outcomes, objectives, learning activities, and assessments. \nCollaborate and communicate with Program Directors, subject matter experts, faculty, and other stakeholders to translate content and program needs into effective learning experiences produce confidently-capable and work-force ready individuals. \nBuild and maintain learning products within the LMS using appropriate educational technologies and established design, accessibility, accreditation, and quality standards.\nParticipate in quality-review processes and continuously improve the learning product\nDevelop authentic assessments designed for experience-based application of course outcomes or competencies. \nAnalyze data, monitor program/course performance, and identify opportunities to improve learning outcomes.\nContinually reimagine programs and products by integrating established and emerging design concepts and technologies.\nManage multiple projects from initiation through delivery ensuring efforts move positively forward and implementing win-win solutions.\nStay abreast of changes and happenings in Higher Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, and Cognitive Science fields.\nContribute to an open, inventive, highly-collaborative, fast-paced team environment.\nRequirements of the Experiential Learning Designer:\nMaster’s degree required in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Adult Education, Cognitive Science, or closely related field.\n5+ years in online instructional/curriculum design for Higher Ed audience.\nProven track record for being a dynamic communicator and facilitator with a focus on student-centered, adaptive development.\nDemonstrated ability to utilize creative pedagogical and technological techniques.\nStrong presentation and organizational skills.\nExperience leveraging artificial intelligence and emerging technologies within instructional-design workflows and online learning.\nAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment.\nDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online learning technologies.\nStrong communication (both verbal and written), collaboration, and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders.\nDemonstrates knowledge of problem-solving, conflict resolution, and delivering customer satisfaction.\nValues higher education and BU’s mission to liberate the innate greatness in people.\nAbility to work in a collaborative environment.\nDemonstrated proficiency in navigating through a PC.\nAbility to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs simultaneously including MS Office programs, Gmail, Zoom, etc. \nAbility to sit for six to eight hours.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule at least 40 hours per week.\nQualified applicants will be asked to complete a sample project to showcase their knowledge and skills. Additional consideration goes to applicants that submit a portfolio with their application.
