Bryant & Stratton College is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligible employer.\nThe Albany Campus of Bryant & Stratton College is accepting applications for a full time Learning Center Coordinator.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Learning Center Coordinator is responsible for, the management and coordination of the Learning Center. This includes, recruitment of tutors, hiring, training, coordinating and setting up study groups and faculty learning hours. All student testing with entrance, placement, and proficiency testing administration The LCC will have the responsibility of being the liaison between students, faculty, administration, advisors, tutors and testers to ensure successful student outcomes. This person will also oversee that the center is in compliance with the Bryant & Stratton College policies and procedures.\nEssential Job Function and Responsibilities:\nLead Proctor for all required entrance and proficiency tests for all programs, including Accuplacer and TEAS, and record results.\nDaily Announcement to team outlining next day testing locations, time, participants\nOrder and maintain TEAS tests inventory\nCoordinate testing schedule with admissions and faculty and ensure backup personnel as needed.\nCoordinate testing room set up.\nProvide data entry of testing results and generate reports reflecting testing results and trends using Banner, Excel, and other software.\nRecruit, hire, train tutors, set up faculty skills assistance, tutoring, scheduling, and subject area focus groups.\nProvide support to faculty and administration in developing classroom and Skills Assistant strategies the address learning disabilities and other special needs. \nCoordinate student Library Resources and work closely with Systems Librarian.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications/Competencies Required:\nAssociate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred\nCollege admission testing experience helpful\nExceptional customer service and ability to solve problems required\nComputer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and comfort with learning new systems\nExperience with Banner or other related student information systems\nAbility to maintain confidentiality, identify and report on trends, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and build and promote strong relationships with students, faculty, and associates in all departments\nAbility to meet multiple demands in a fast-paced environment\nNON-EXEMPT POSITIONS:\nSALARY:\n$43,000 - $45,000 ($20.67 - $21.63 per hour)\nThis position is eligible for overtime.\nPlease note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position. The selected candidate’s actual base pay for this role will take into account a wide range of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
