Founded in 1854, Bryant & Stratton College offers real-world education leading to bachelor's, associate's, and professional certificates after completion in the fields of healthcare, technology, legal, business, graphic design, and more. \nApply now!\nPOSITION: Part-time Van/Bus Driver\nHOURS/STATUS: Part-Time/Non-Exempt\nREPORTS TO: Athletic Director\nLOCATION: Albany, New York Market\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDrive College Owned passenger van on short and/or long trips safely negotiating various routes through varied terrain and geographic areas. \nTransport students, coaches and staff from one place to another using Bryant & Stratton College passenger van.\nSafe and Competent Operation of Van.\nDrive Van on regular routes between campus, student housing & practice facility on a schedule\nAssist students and coaches with sports gear and/or luggage.\nReport accidents or other traffic disruptions to Athletic Director and administration.\nReview route assignments and schedules with Coaches & administration, and ensure all information is fully understood before departing.\n Check the van tires, lights, and promptly report maintenance issues to Athletic Director.\nStrict adherence to all state and federal transit regulations. \nAccount for all coaches/players & staff before leaving a location.\nPerform duties in a manner that align with the College’s vision, standards and ethics.\nCOMPETENCIES, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School Degree\nAbility to move and lift 50 + pounds\nMinimum 2 years' Passenger driving experience a plus\nClean driving record\nAble to pass criminal and DMV check upon hire\nPass Random Drug Testing\nStrong verbal communications skills\nCustomer service oriented and professional\nFlexible schedule is a plus\nSolid driving knowledge of New York State and surrounding states is a plus\nMust possess a valid license \nAbility to work with all levels of associates and student\nHourly Range is based on experience $20.00 - $22.00 hour\nPlease note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position.
